The 3 JUMP cards

Ok, let's start with my very first reaction.

*clears throught*

AHAhahahaAHHAHAhahahahaHAHAHAlmaoHAHAHA!

Phew, now the outburst is out of the way, let's talk about the cards.

First of all Yu-Jo Friendship is... well how should I say this... hmhm... Let's just say I used to joke around (and still do) with friends about playing an imaginary card that does something like that... And now there's a reall card like that?!?! Dang it... I'll stop talking about it because I'm feeling a new outburst comming again...

Well, the other 2 are decent... but not all that great. Bottom line is, after "Heart of the Underdog" and "Kaibaman" (wich both are quite usefull in the right deck), only the kiddies are gonna "looove" these... surelly a pure comercial/kiddie-bait. (sheesh who come's up with this stuff...) :haveaday

Unity would not work with Shield & Sword, because it doesn't modify original DEF (seen from the lack of the word "original"). Unity would not work with Reverse Trap because it doesn't increase or decrease DEF. It merely sets it to a certain value (seen from the word "becomes" instead of "increase").

In this case, "becomes equal to <something>" doesn't really have an alternate reading (unless you look painfully hard at it). The "becomes equal to" states in itself that the thing before the phrase is modified according to the <something>. The DEF of that monster is altered depending on what the total DEF is.
