I was just wondering if my opponent could exiled force to destroy the end of anubis as the end of anubis negetes the effects of monsters spells and traps that target and activate in the graveyard?
jinzo64 said:so exiled force is either an egnition effect or a trigger effect that activates on the field then resolves in the graveyard or out of play area.
Ok, the lack of emoticons makes me think you are serious here....Please tell me you're not being serious....exiledforcefreak said:uhhhh yeah, UDE went over this like a year ago.
Exiled Force DOES in fact activate in the graveyard and WILL be negated by End of Anubis. This is because the card is considered activated AFTER you pay the cost.
Yes. Under usual circumstances (i.e. unless it is tributed and somewhere other than the graveyard)exiledforcefreak said:uhhhh yeah, UDE went over this like a year ago.

No, this is more recent:and WILL be negated by End of Anubis. This is because the card is considered activated after you pay the cost.
You might want to give a link to UDE's answer about this.exiledforcefreak said:uhhhh yeah, UDE went over this like a year ago.

exiledforcefreak said:yeah, i was informed by densetsu that they changed it. I was looking for the new and old post on the judges list...
If that is the case then why does The End of Enubis negate Exiled Force?
If you meant Skill Drain instead of The End of Anubis, then your second conclusion is correct. Skill Drain only negates the effects of face-up monsters on the Field. Exiled Force is no longer on the Field, when its effect resolves. The End of Anubis does not negate Exiled Force because Exiled Force's ignition effect does not activate in the Graveyard.CPMillerWV said:Just a note. It (Exiled Force) ACTIVATES on the field. The EFFECT resolves on the field.
HOWEVER, since the cost is trubuting himself, he is sent elsewhere (graveyard, RFG). This is why The End of Anubis can not negate it. It's not on the field when its effect resolves.
It was referring to The End of Anubis' old Ruling, when Exiled Force was once called a Graveyard Effect, which it isnt anymore.CPMillerWV said:I think in the quoted question and list, that it may have been ruled differently. So, I think it has since changed. This is proof that the changes "wipe-out" old "out dated" rulings.
