Here is the big news from the February 2006 issue of Shonen Jump, Volume 4, Issue 2.

1. The 3 promos for the GameBoy Advance game "Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Duel Academy" are confirmed to be Elemental Hero Necroshade, Hero Ring, and Winged Kuriboh (alternate art). Though these were the ones that had been rumored for some time now, the pictures confirm it. And I might add that Necroshade's art is really sweet looking, though the text is too small to read.

2. February 18 and 19 are the days for the Shadow of Infinity Sneak Previews, though I believe that is somewhat old news now too.

3. The Duelist Pack card lists are fully translated. Apparently they will be released as 1st Edition and Unlimited Edition as well, since the artwork shown has the 1st Edition of the cards. They are as follows:
Jaden Yuki Pack
Elemental Hero Avian
Elemental Hero Burstinatrix
Elemental Hero Clayman
Elemental Hero Sparkman

Winged Kuriboh LV10

Like I said, some of this is old news to some of you I'm sure, but here it is all bundled together. There is also artwork for the Shadow of Infinity booster packs, as well as artwork for "Burst Return" and "The Grave of Enkindling." Also included in this issue is Exchange of the Spirit.

Enjoy!

Well they were not rumored as these were the cards being released anyway since they came out in Japan. They would not change promos now since they been keeping up to date on that for a long time. Not to mention they were mentioned in Janurary issue. I knew there was a reason why I wanted to get a Jaden Pack, or at least cannot wait for it to come out. I can get a Rare version of Negate Attack. About smeggin time. I hate using my promo version. Shame that Chazz only has Magical Mallet and Armed Dragon LV10. The Grave of Enkindling will be fun to use since that is the Trap Card version of The Shallow Grave, but face-up Defense Position. Still, if someone was smart they would figure out abusing Chthonian Soldier with The Grave of Enkindling and then using Inferno Reckless Summon only to then use Chthonian Alliance on a Chthonian Solider that can attack. Worse case scenario you lose your monster. Best case you get to destroy one of theres. Then you can just attack with the other and lose some LP, but so would they and then activate your Chthonian Blast to destroy your Defense Position Chthonian Soldier and do half its Damage to their Life Points while you protect yourself with Ring of Defense. It is so l33t, too bad so many moves lol.

Shadow of Infinity is in February?! I could've sworn I heard it was in January... Well, that makes me kind of sad. I was looking forward to getting it as soon as possible. Oh well. :D

Any word on the Sneak Peek card for it yet?

January don't know where you heard that on the other side of the world (Europe) we even know that it's February. :p

You also know when we can sell the Packs, or don't they wanna say that.

Darn it. I still can't find the January issue w/ the BEUD in my area. It's either been sold out or just not in stock...

On another note, Reckless Summoning will create soooo many possibilities for soooo many decks its not even funny. A few cards that will benefit include:

All searchers
D.D. Scout Plane
Rescue Cat
Batteryman AA
Delta Attack based decks
Burn

and the list goes on...

Mallet is also good as well. I'd take Mallet over Reload any day now.

Check at Walmart, Target, and Books-A-Million. Target may have it because no one really looks in the Magazine (yes, I know it's a Manga) Section for anything Yugioh related.

Just go to a hobby store or Walmart, and look for the Ultimate Editions. You can get a Ultra Rare BEUD, and a collectable Shonen Jump. I've bought 3 already.

A Hobby Store is the obvious place to look, and more than likely the last place to find one.

This I have found to be pretty much a hard and fast rule. If you want something everyone else is after, you go where everyone doesnt go.

I was able to get the Special Edition EEN Boxes with no problem at Target when they went on sale (3 Horus LV8's, a Silent LV5, and Sacred Phoenix), while the Walmart basically across the street had none, and there was STILL about 20+ Boxes left a few days later.

Keep in mind, we still have no idea what Magical Mallet will do when it comes out. If it is just a kick butt no holds bar shuffle card then sure it owns it, in fact I am replacing my Reload with it when it comes. My fear is Konami to keep it at 3 per Deck or at least 2 per Deck in the future will probably make returning the cards a COST. I hope not. They made it nerfed enough as is to begin with. Infernal Reckless Summon is alright at best. I could see it owning for people who do not run more than 1 copy of a monster. However, keep in mind you need to Special Summon that monster in the first place. What is even more unfair is if I had a Hydrogeddon and you used it on your Chthonian Soldier, what are the chances you just Bottomless Trap Hole the other 2 I get? Fair, heck no but so cool.

Hydrogeddon isn't limited? OMG I have to get a third.

Why would it be? It just came out and it hardly qualifies as a card to be semi-restricted. I think people started going crazy over it when some dude had it in their Water Beatdown Side Deck in a Mis-Q tourney or whatever and now everyone sees the aggro or whatever you call it about it. I do not ever see it being restricted. They would make Water Dragon hard to summon. However, I do see Cyber Dragon getting restricted in the near future, maybe to semi-restricted given Proto Cyber Dragon will be out. Who knows.

I normally Axe'ed one took out a Tribute then hit direct wtih het 23[0/\/1) 1. Now i can kill a stomach'ed GAF, GEAF, IFLL, TGAF and attchk direct. Kinda like Spirit Reaper and VWXYZ or GK Assailant

We'll see about Magical Mallet. If they make it a cost, then it becomes very very weak.

Reckless Summoning is an awesome card. It isn't hard to special summon a 1500 or weaker monster. We have Tomatos, Grizzlys, Turtles, Insects, Last Will, Call, Premature, Leveling Up, Cats, and a whole slew of other cards that can search out the desirable monster. The only downside is that IF the opponent has multiple copies of a monster, he/she can also special summon the same monster. Granted, right now, 3DDAs is the most common, and everything else isn't usually run in 3's, then this makes Reckless Summoning a very powerful card. It is also good with Ceasefire. But, we'll see what happens when the card is actually released in the States.

Can I get a card text of every new card, please? I seem to have missed something. That includes E-Hero Necroshade and Hero Ring.

Imagine Warrior Weenie decks with Reckless Summoning. Summon Marauding Captain, Special Summon Mataza the Zapper, activate Reckless Summoning. 3(1300 x 3) + 1200 = 9000 points of damage. That is, so long as you can kill the monster(s) that the opponent would have.

Eh... I don't know what the hoot is about Magical Mallet. It's just an improved Reload. Except not Quick-Play? That makes it worse. Then better because it's not a -1.

Edit: So far, this is the word around the campfire.

Magical Mallet
Magic - Normal
Shuffle any number of cards from your hand into your deck, draw from your deck that number of
cards afterward.
Super Rare

Not sure why it would change.

jeezum crow, why do so many people have this hangup over card advantage, are people so obsessed with cc that they just dismiss every card that doesnt give you +1/+2/+ whatever the heck number.

there's no reason to write a card off just becuase it gives you -1, although thats just my opinion, and yes i know for most people think hand management wins games, fine, but not everyone follows that principal unless you just make decks purley to win not to have fun. (personally i dont see why you cant make a good deck, thats not desgined to win all the time and still have fun at the same time.)

but yeah i'm liking a lot of cards in this, like reckless summoning of hell, magical mallet, etc etc. it sure makes a change to get some non standard pack stuff over here.

"(personally i dont see why you cant make a good deck, thats not desgined to win all the time and still have fun at the same time.) "

That statement makes no sense. Generally a 'good' deck is one that usually wins. Winning is fun. People's desire to win gives them pleasure out of having fun winning. So the aspect of making a deck that doesn't win wouldn't really be that great of an idea. I would have said something more along the lines of, "using a deck with an original stragety or refined idea to an old deck type would be fun to use most of the time." as in my mind a 'good' deck is one that wins most of the games you use it with.

Note: No deck in existance can win 100% of the time.

These are just my opinions.

As for the whole Mataza thing mentioned. It's called Giant Trunade and United We Stand on Marauding. The saying, "Would you like to enter your Scoop Phase now?" comes to mind after saying that. =P
