This would make me feel better than the previously rumored list, but I still don't like it all that much.
 
the only one i dislike is snatch steal comming back :crying the rest - i cant say i'm over glad or over sad...play time with the new list will be the tell i guess....
 
man...so much for my idea of making an uber e hero deck with 3 airman...

guess ill be going gadgets or dark world now...
 
c´mon 3 lilys?, think about "Giant Trunade" + "Marauding Captain" + "Injection Fairy Lily" + "Inferno Reckless Summon" + "Lightning Vortex" = Good game, u can make a "OTK Deck" with this =s
 
Here are the ones I find interesting...

Restricted:
Snatch Steal Taking away Breaker and adding Snatch Steal...hmmm. Obviously people will be adding Dust Tornado or some other form of S/T removal, especially with Giant Trunade limited. Snatch Steal could be a real problem if someone doesn't add that extra S/T removal

Semi-Restricted:
Metamorphosis It would seem that after pulling Cyberstien they wanted some way to make Fusion monsters worth having around again. As long as TER is out of the picture I like this move and it makes sense.

Mask of Restrict I'm having a little trouble buying into this one. Is Mask of Restrict that broken in any format that it needs to be Semi-Restricted? Comments about what might have spurred this one?

Unrestricted:
Exiled Force With Cyber Dragon not on the list I think this is a really poor move. Special summon Cyber and normal summon Exiled Force happens as it is so often that it's becoming boring and is the making of a CC deck we can expect to see to the point of snoring.

Upstart Goblin Now this is indeed interesting. Gives Exodia deck players, Bad Reaction To Samoochi, and numerous other decks a reason to try again. I smiled when I saw this one. Should be fun.


Unrestricted:

Injection Fairy Lily Who's bright idea whas this? They should be Inferno Reckless Summon placed where the sun don't shine.
Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys Isn't this annoying enough without being unrestricted? While it's interesting and will certainly cause people to watch their side decks I don't see this as being a good idea. Granted, IFL and Gran Mole will keep this guy in check but I think we'd have been better off by not taking either of the off the limited list.
 
Indeed, C´mon, this doesn´t make much sense =s think about it.-

Victory Dragon: Without Yata-style suffocation, I don't really see it. *shrug* Whatever.
Breaker: ...Um, okaaay. Ban this, but bring back Snatch Steal at the same time? No, thanks.
Airman: LMAO. Almost impossible to make him work!
Dimension Fusion: ...But not Return from the Different Dimension, when we now have two Masks? Suuure.
Mind Crush: Didn't think about it, but yeah--"free" discard? Especially with two Masks again.
 
I can already see the ultimate death of an already rare deck type: Chain Burn. (Chain Strike Limited)

On the other hand, I can also see the possible rise of a very rare deck type: Simochi Burn. (Snatch Steal Limited)

Last Will was probably banned with the removal of Exiled Force from the list, but that doesn't help at all. And we won't be seeing any more Ancient Gear Engineers in play.

Sacred Phoenix going unrestricted would mean Apprentice Engines will be on the rise, probably with 2 Apprentice, 3 Old Vindictive and 2 Hand, in conjunction with the banning of Magician of Faith.

If this list really holds true, then I'm glad the following didn't occur:
Chaos Sorcerer unbanned
Pot of Greed unbanned
Dark Hole unbanned

And if Mr Takahashi doesn't want to see his broken cards out of play forever, he should just "import" the Traditional Format back to Japan!
 
Oddly enough, this doesn't hurt my Burn deck as it is, since it does only use 1 Chain Strike really...what has me worried are those cards that have been unrestricted...

*shudders at the thought of having to stare @ 3 big birds on their Standby Phase...* 0_0

It's Mask of Darkness not Restrict! Going from 1 to 2. Slowly but surely leaving the list.
