Well, if you got the Magazine that featured Elemental Hero Ocean, they talked about the US getting 2 cards that we were "eagerly looking forward to getting". Well, I'll agree on 1 of the 2 (it was actually rather high on my wish list). Here you go (this came from an ad in Shonen Jump):

Ummmm, -ala- "Magical Stone Excavation"???

If this is released after Worlds, I can imagine UDE allowing us a couple of months to play with it unrestricted before clamping it down in September.....
 
Well I'd subscribe to get them... in fact that's the plan later in the week. I'll find out then when they can be expected to arrive which would also give an indication as to if they would be restricted immediately upon release.

That said, I'd rather put the disclaimer out there that YES IT IS RESTRICTED in Japan so we don't get whining and pouting like we are now with Magical Stone Excavation (even if I don't see it having the same kind of impact).
 
Yeah, I'm hearing you have to subscribe 1 year to get them. Man... Forget the insect, I want my BROKEN BABOON! The most powerful Beast Beatstick ever printed.

If it doesn't get immediate 1x per deck, expect Beast beatdown to be top tier. (Giant Rat, Nimbles... etc. etc etc.)
 
Well, before anybody gets too excited, I just called them and they said they are not available yet. If you click to renew, it defaults to the Unity, YuJo, Judgement cardset. Jessie (at Jump renewal) said that she didn't even have the offer codes yet, it is so new. I guess we just cool our jets a bit.
 
I really dont know where everyone is getting the information that there is some kind of release date, just from the advertisement. On one site, they have someone saying it will release in July. People are already making Baboon Decks....

Just sad.

They should list the different countries they would ship to. They appear to ship to most of the world so you should be in luck.

I'd love to know where you're seeing that. Only the US and Canada can get subscriptions, as far as I can see. And that's really unfair.
 
Yeah, I had this exact conversation with someone from another Forum a few weeks ago, and unless something has changed, it's still Canada and US only. That doesnt prevent someone from "privately" sending individual copies of the Manga to someone, but they can't subscribe.
 
Shonen jump can now suck on my hairy hairy teddy bear. Its really old like from when i was 5 and its smelly. I was gonna subscribe but I cant now. Someone may be getting a money order in the post and explicit instructions to send me the stuff soon enough....
 
I had the fortune of finding a copy of what I assume was last month's Shonen Jump in a shop here in England (Travelling Man in Newcastle). It had a Kurosaki Ichigo card in it for the soon-to-be-released Bleach TCG.

My fortune ended before it began, as one of the friends I was there with spotted it first, and got it before I knew it was there.

I wish I knew someone in America I could trust.
 
Emerald & Maruno.... That would get a little expensive, wouldn't it? I'll do some checking and see what it would be to ship a Jump every month to Ireland (I don't suppose it matters where in Ireland, but maybe a zip code will help narrow it down), unless you are talking about just the promo cards, or just the promo cards and certain volumes (with particular cards in it), or, cheapest, just the cards from the Jumps (the Jumps themselves can be donated to local Libraries). What are you thinking?
 
Well for the republic of ireland we dont really have any postal codes or at least no real use for them. Well it would be nice to see the magazines but only if theres anything good in them. In the last jump what was in it?

The Last Jump that contained a Promo Card was

Elemental Hero Ocean
Level 4
Warrior/Effect
ATK/1500 DEF/1200

Once per turn, during your Standby Phase you can return 1 "Elemental Hero" or "Destiny Hero" monster from your side of the field or your Graveyard to it's owners hand.

Hmmmm, you mean what is in the Manga in general, as if you are someone that has never read a Manga before?? Otherwise, its nothing really special unless you like reading the latest goings on with Yugih GX, Yugioh, Naratu, One Piece, Anime etc....
 
I do like reading such things woo. What i wanna know is roughly what chapter each one was on so i can know if Im ahead of the current release or not.

hmmmm so lets see 144 + subscription fee for everything...... depends on if its worth it. Still it wont be as expensive as it seems with the exchange rates in my favour at least.
