AND THE CARDINALS WON!!!!

Yeah, I know. Most of you probably don't care. But I am from the St. Louis metro and a Cardinal fan nonetheless. I was at game 3 when the Tigers made that costly pitching error in the 7th inning....oh wait.....they made a costly pitching error each game of the series that STL won! Not going to complain!!!

GO CARDS!!! 2006 CHAMPIONS!!!! WOOT!!! WOOT!!! WOOT!!

Being at the game was great though. Besides the cold I woke up with Wendsday morning. 4 hours of baseball in 40 degree weather can be hazardous to your health.

And the best part is we won....and Rodgers is the one who was using pine tar!!! Just kidding, there's no proof of it.....just speculation. And they did win THAT game.....

I just gotta share the excitement!!!!

Wow, the World Series started already??? Guess I must have missed it.... Darn those "Grim Adventure's of Billy and Mandy", they are soooooo captivating!!

But really, this years Super Bowl and World Series had to be the biggest letdown for anyone who wasnt personally affected by either Team. Thank goodness for the NBA Championship and Tiger Woods!!!

Congrats, to STL. I was personally pulling for Detroit(So bad for so long), but they gave it away. Not to put down the effort of the Cardinals, but the Tigers did make it easier with the aforementioned errors. What was it, 5 in the first 3 games? That's the difference between a young taem and a veteran team.Roadhouse, I bet you do not even mind that cold. I remember when my D-Backs beat the Yanks in 2001. I barely saw anything of the last inning, Everytime I looked up at the TV, someone made an out. So I did what any good fan would do and covered my eyes before Gonzo hit the winning bloop. Sometimes you have to take one for the team....

I remember watching that game on TV. It was great; I was rooting for the D-Backs and a guy in the next room was rooting for the Yanks. It was pretty funny.

I wanted the Tigers - Albert Pujols is my favorite player in baseball right now, but I like multiple Tigers players - Justen Verlander, Ivan Rodriguez, Sean Casey, Jeremy Bonderman, etc.

And now for a long, long off season...

Maybe the Mariners will make it to 500 next year. Oh wait, we kept Bill Bavasi AND Mike Hargrove for another year.

So maybe not.

I agree with Kyhotae's sentiments. Although I don't actually WATCH TV, I do prefer to be able to watch TV shows rather than sports.

It was nice to see guys like Pujols and especially Eckstein get a ring, but I would have much rather seen Sean Casey get one. Being from the Pittsburgh area, I was so excited when he came to Pittsburgh, only to be disappointed when they traded him away at the deadline. But then he went Detroit and was surrounded by young talent and so many former Pirates it was hard not to root for the Tigers. Either way, it was an exciting series to watch no matter the outcome. Lots of young talent made it especially exciting.

Don't forget, Jim Edmonds did get his ring. That's a plus for the Cardinals. 14 years in the bigs and he at last gets a ring.

He's a great centerfielder, so many defensive gems.
