Thousand Eyes Restrict...

Hello guys... will like to check with you all this doubt of mine... what happened when i summon thousand eyes restrict and uses his effect to suck on my opp face down monster?
1) does TER have the atk and def of the face down monster?
2) Does the face down monster flip up and be placed on my spell/trap zone(without flipping effect)
3) Do i know what is the facedown monster which my opp put?

Please clear my doubts... thanks...

Yes, as with any other monster when there is an equip. card it becomes destroyed when the monster it's equip. to becomes destroyed.

Not trying to correct you John, but is the equip card considered destroyed or just removed to the graveyard because of no legal target?

Correct me if I misunderstand your post Spooker83, but in your second question I believed you asked something about a Flip Effect. I can't think of an effect that would flip the equipped spell card face up (since that doesn't happen in any other instance unless TER or Relinquished are involved) but if it were, you wouldn't get the Flip Effect of the flipped card becaue it is now an Equip Spell Card.

ok so do u mean that once TER abosrb the face down monster, the monster will be immediately be face down and face on my S/T zone? am i correct to say that.? in addition, i can juz see what the face down monster right?

please correct me if i am wrong based on the replies... thanks.

1.) if you take a face down monster, its atk/def becomes 0.

2.) no, the monster stays face down and doesnt get flipped face up first.

3.) yes, you may look at the monster u took with TER

and just you want to know, if u take a monster that is equiped with for example Mage Power, Mage Power is destroyed.

and if TER gets face down by Tsukuyomi or Book of Moon etc., the monster equiped on TER is destroyed.

also, if you take Jinzo, Jinzo's effect doesnt applyes anymore.
& when you take BLS - EOTB, you cannot activate his effect.

Hellspaawn summed it up rather nicely.

Let me add that Thousand-Eyes Restrict and Relinquished are the ONLY reason that a Spell Card is being attached face-down. Their effect makes it possible for the transformed monster to remain equiped face-down. But this in no way contradicts the rule that regular equip cards must follow. An equip card can only remain equipped face-up. TER and Rel. are "equipping" a face-down via thier effect.
