TLM-JP034 Elemental Master Dryad :)

anybody remember using this card?

shes a preaty weak 4 star, but what would happen if we saw what she trully was.

then we could easily pop her into an Elemental use deck and have her as the key card to pump up some of the crazy effect monster that can now eithe become 2000atk and negate effect or cant be controlled and do double attack.

the card it self is easy to summon. and in the correct deck can be very usefull.

Yes its true its a ritual and can only be summoned through Dryads prayer. but the 3 star can easily be summoned by just tossing out any old 3 and above. so a 1 sac for a monster that can possibly be usefull to use Elemental Burst is preaty darn good.

you can if you want use the Sonic Bird and so forth to try and get it faster, i my self would only recomend 1 of these and 2 of the prayers. 1 for incase someobdy compulses it back to you hand.

it also helps so you dont top deck the monster instead the spell card. and with Chiron the Mage flying around you can easily use that extra Prayer and turn it into a MST.

example of a deck that would use this would have the monster line up like so.

tributes:
1x Jinzo
1x BLS

Non
1x Elemental Master Dryad
2x Element Doom
2x Element Valkyria
2x Element Saurus
2x Element Magician
2x Element Dragon
2x Element Soldier
1x Exiled Force
1x TIV
1x Sinister Serpent
1x Chiron the Mage

-------------------

Oviously the spell cards for this deck would be something along the lines were you would replace 2x Creature Swap or 2x Metamorphosis for the 2x Dryad's Prayer.

not much change well oviously alot of the mosnter changed since most of them are element based.

and you can even toss in an Elemental Burst if you can even use it since it does ask for 1 of each elementent. but there can be an exception to it, possibly, maybe prolly, hopefully, if so you could see Elemental Burst be use alot often in a deck like this.

in a good deck it can be usefull, yes there are better cards out there, but for a deck that you will enjoy, its oviously decent. :)

Im not a judge, so I dont have direct access to this information, however, Im sure most people here can confirm or deny this:

I was on a thread at another site, when I recieved this info.
Alright, there was an email sent out to the UDE Judge list to clearify rulings for the Sneak Preview, I think this should clear everything up:

Quote:
You can activate "Fuh-Rin-Ka-Zan" if "Elemental Mistress Doriado" is on
the field (no other monsters are required).

Quote:
"Elemental Burst" requires 4 Tributes. "Elemental Mistress Doriado" can
be used as 1 of the 4, but you will still need to Tribute 3 other
monsters of the Appropriate Attributes.

So there you have it. At least we can use one of the two. I'd rather use Fuh-Rin-Ka-Zan since it gives you a wide variety of options. Now it's really time to start planning this deck out.

Well, there we have it. My elemental Archfiends have more juice to work with now! 8^D Wow, people really flew over to update this one 8^D

Outside of "Winged Kuriboh", this card is the card I'm wanting the most. Between her and Fuh-Rin-Ka-Zan, I can see a tournament winning deck in there. Despite her being a Ritual, I feel she has a lot of potential, Manju will help her get to the field, Fulfilment of the Contract will help bring her back, and Ritual Weapon will give her a big boost to her ATK. 3 Stars as well (and her Base ATK) let's her slide under all 3 stalls. I don't see many people running her, but I just know that winning deck can be built around her. (She's a bit of a cutie too... I didn't say that.)

I am just hoping that this card doesnt go off and combine with the Chaos now o.o Between Element Dragon and Element Saurus (IMO the best of out all the Element monsters.) That's Light and Dark right there, along with Manju, Sangan and other ways of trying to get out the Ritual thats prime Chaos food. This I am hoping isn't going to Backfire on us.

Another super nice thing about her is that she can be used as removal for Light, Earth, Fire, Water, and Wind. If you need to remove a monster from play, she can be used to do it for 5 different types. Pretty cool. And useful.

won't work, Fuh-Rin-Kah-Zan needs 1 monster of EACH Attribute, so Dryad would basically serve the same purpose as Homuncolus (sp?) in that situation.

With all due respect, but....

Card #: TLM-EN034
Card Name:Elemental Mistress Doriado Card Type: Monster Monster Type/Attribute: Spellcaster/LIGHT
Level: 3 Attack/Defense: 1200/1400
Card Text
: This card can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card, "Doriado's Blessing". The Attribute of this card is also treated as WIND, WATER, FIRE, and EARTH.
Rulings:

  1. The effect of "Elemental Mistress Doriado" is even applied while she's in your hand or Graveyard. So you can discard her for the effect of "Abyss Soldier". Or remove her from play while in the Graveyard to Special Summon "Gigantes".
  2. You can activate "Fuh-Rin-Ka-Zan" if "Elemental Mistress Doriado" is on the field (no other monsters are required).

I removed the bottom 3 rulings cause then had nothing to do with the situation at hand. According to Netrepâ„¢, Fuh-Rin-Ka-Zan needs no other cards (as the above quote shows).

I posted that months before Doriado was released. I was speculating. -_-

Sorry if you took any offence. It isn't in my nature to INTEND disrespect, although many times ppl misconstrue something i say matter-of-factly as an insult. and checking after i saw the post 2 above mine that had already established the fact. My apoligies to that poster as well.
