Toon Table of Contents use?

Why do people use Toon Table of Contents in a deck with no toons? Is it to thin their deck quickly to create the chances of getting the critical cards quicker? Any other reasons?

Thinning mostly. Think of it as faster version of Gather Your Mind.

If anything, a lot of folks like to use three Toon Table of Contents and have a Toon Cannon Soldier just for one more, semi-useful card.

Then there's the Blasting the Ruins Decks, which have Toon World for that extra Spell Card/lose Life Points card that they need.

How are those Decks doing, by the way? Has the latest Ban List ruined them, or do they just need a tweak?

I see triple toon just to get spell counters for any such card requiring them.
