Tournament advice

if it's local then usually it won't last long enough to worry about energy bars and what not, also trading is easier at local tournaments. local tournaments are usually a more laid back atmosphere where as regionals tend to be cut throat, where you have to really watch and make sure you don't do any violations. still watch out for thiefs.
 
The main thing about local is that you arent likely to have people coming from 6-12 hours away to play in them. Most people are only coming from as far away as 20-30 minutes, so you are going to be able to have a more casual environment since over time, you will get to know most of the people who come often.

well i dunno tourney's in our part of the country are pretty scarce(althought i techincally think you couldnt come from anywhere twelve hours from here unless you came from another country.or at least the top of it.) but there probably will be people from a couple of hours away at least.

but yeah thanks again for the advice guys, i'm still planning to take some stuff with me(althought we're unsure if this is a regional, althought unlikey, althought i do maybe have plans to atend the closest one, even if its down in london.)
 
okey dokey tourney report. i did rather well, breaking even, not as good as some people, but pretty good, participated in a booster draft as well(and was the only person not to pull an ulitimate rare Goblin Elite Attack Force, althought i did pull a Power Bond. we also got given hl mst's(mine is either gonne be e-bayed or traded more than unlikey, but overall really fun.)
 
Well the tourney was ove I got more loses than wins. It was more tyring than I thought it would be.Though I coul of went to bed earlier. But anyway thanks for everyone's help. Though I do know a couple of cards that were bad draws and somegood ones. Nothing major just miner which good as it helped me learn. The 2 decks I did beat were really good. They had no idea's in getting rid of my vwyxz peices which was good. That and the Holo Mystical Space Typhoon was worth it. Though it was more of a lax tourney the experience was well received.
