Undying Avarice

Oooh, I see now... Ok then, I would say loose the BtH (to many D.D. Survivors runing loose in todays meta)

That makes sense, and it's very do-able. But I'm in no hurry. I'd like to hear a few more opinions before I make a decision.

Thanks Occasus! :headbang_

Umm...if you're talking about Vampire Lord, there are times when it would be necessary to Avarice him back into the deck. Like, when he's destroyed in battle or something. Other than that and Twin-Headed Behemoth, the other monsters are more than worthy of Avarice.

So you mean to say. That it is situational to put Vampire Lord back into the deck. Just like it is situational to put a card back in the deck that specifically states "This effect can only be used once during the current duel" ?

While you're on the topic of situational, why not throw in other situational cards in your deck such as: Last Day of Witch, System Down, Special Hurricane, Exiled of the Wicked, Warrior Elimination, and others that you may think of. :)

Either post something on here useful or not at all. I'd rather not start a back and forth squabble with you and take the risk of getting this thread closed.

Unless you have anything helpful to add, I suggest that you leave this thread alone and move on.

...on a better note

Thanks for the input BenjaminMS. It's beginning to look like SoRL may be going bye-bye soon.

Any more suggestions?

Way to OVERLOOK MY MAIN POINT.

The helpful thing I've been trying to tell you is:

Avarice doesn't fit.

Drop the don for another tomato, you have enough hand d with reaper. I dont like the samurai cause theres ms lvl2 and i want to say to add another Book of Life or a Creature Swap in place of some those traps namely one bth and one Dust Tornado.

Another thing, Complex Mind is semi right for you on Pot of Avarice, the deck isnt that fast interms of dumping stuff into the grave, yes i know tomato and turtles but those don't give the other part of what made pot work so well, merchant and dek gave you cards in the hand ontop of the pot play, this deck gives you field advantage not hand, which can mean you still up being short on hand which is usually better. I am not saying to take it out, but it really honestly doesnt fit this theme as well as you think it does.

After much consideration and advice (yes Complex Mind, I'm actually listening to you for once, lol), I've decided to keep "Pot of Avarice" to one. It's a great card that works like a charm, but running two would make me draw into them way too much. I've made two changes and they seem to be working very well at getting monsters in the graveyard while not relying too heavily on "Pot of Avarice".

1st change:
-Pyramid Turtle
+Giant Rat

I figured a "Giant Rat" could get me another "Pyramid Turtle" should I need it while still giving me the occasional "Exiled Force".

2nd change:
-Twin-Headed Behemoth
+Newdoria

Although "Twin-Headed Behemoth" gave me loads of help getting out the big zombies, as well as giving aid against stall decks, its overall usefulness is overshadowed by the ever pwning "Newdoria".
