There's a lot of theses so called Urban Ninjas over on YouTube. Mostly there guys who really agile and can climb walls and jump over stuff most of us can't. All in all, not really anything ninjistic.

This cat, though, looks like he does this for a living, based on the fact that he hires out his services. He strikes me as being a martial arts stuntman and, well, do I really have to tell you not to try this at home?

This thing started getting popular about 15 years ago back in Paris. It was just a group of teens kind of playing follow the leader kind of stuff. As it progressed, they started trying to outdo each other with the daring jumps and acrobatics. It just kind of spread from there all over the world.

Its kind of nice to see someone really trying to self-promote and take a skill like that into the professional area.

I wish I had that kind of leg strength to go bouncing around like Tigger from Winnie the Pooh! :D

All my life, I've only ever wanted to do that flip off the wall thing. Just seems like it would come in handy. :D

The flipping part isn't that hard. Its the landing on your feet part where I make the mistakes. :D:D

He used his head to lift himself during some of those flips............

I WANNA DO THAT!!! Well, I have, but not quite that good. We called it agressive walking. You know, like agrro inline? Aggro walking!!!

I was just as dorky now as I was when I was in high school.....and I don't ask for forgiveness.

Back in my college days we called it "Freestyle Walking" Sliding down stair rails, no flips though, but all that crazy stuff. Downtown LA had plenty of stuff to work with. 8^D

The scary thing is that they were selling shoes for this too! Either small bars on the side of the shoes for sliding or wax to help "stick" for those staller tricks.

Man I envy kids nowadays and their Heelies. How fun are THOSE?!

Kids???? They make them up to size 12 or so in men's......

Speaking of....Dane Cook sports a pair in the movie Employee of the Month. I had a pair until about a year ago when the wheels would not secure in place anymore. Yeah. They're lots of fun. Especially at a con. Who wants to do that much walking?

Yeah, who needs to walk when you can fall and break your leg? Which is what happens to me the minute I get near anything with wheels and no seat.

Parkour.

If you want to learn something like this, it's a good idea to study some martial arts with masters. For no good reason that I'll tell you. As revenge for the board not letting me just post "Parkour" and be mysterious like that.
