useing deck all lowest rarity or highest?

do you guys play w/cards in the highest rarity?or use the lowest one?

i for one dont have the biggest collection and i dont wanna invest money into peices of cardboard, so i just try to get the most "easyist" to get cards.Sometimes i get lucky in packs, i usually trade them away or sell them.

in tournys, do you guys like to show off?
i always thought that using like misprinted ultra rare wateva card is kinda pointless in a duel.
 
Personally....I prefer to play with as many commons (lowest rarity) as I can for multiple reasons...the first is that if my deck gets stolen I'm out the least, the second is I put all my most valuable cards in my "collectors" binder, the last reason? It always adds a bit of insult to injury when you beat someone with an all "common" deck <smirk>
 
I use all commons when possible cause they are easiest to come by. I keep my holos in my trade binder or collection. Once in awhile though I'll pull out some of my more prized possessions (one of which being my 1/e DCR D.D. Warrior Lady) just for fun.
 
Generally commons as well here, leaning towards the "newest" versions whenever possible. Updated text, don't care if they get wrecked.

I also avoid holos to prevent card "pop" on the table. I've stated this before, but if you only have 2 or 3 holos in your deck, it's really easy for your opponent to know when they've been Set since they "pop" up :D

I've only been to 1 tourney, and I conciously avoided "showing off" on purpose. I wasn't there to brag about my cards. However, next time I'm going to be packing a pair of Magical Arm Shields, and I'm sure that will cause some comments from the Peanut Gallery. (I'm not bringing them to show off -- I'm really using them)
 
umm, well I'll be the first one to differ then--- I love the shiny- somewhat to show off, but moreover to collect- If there is a high rarity version of a card, I am going to hunt it down. I just love these new Parallel Rare version cards........ooooo Sangan...... @_@
 
I play with whatever fits the thematic. Usually making proxies if the card is rare or just generally difficult to get. Rarity has never entered into my deck building decisions. Which means I'm often playing with cards I don't really have.
 
I play with what I can get. I know I have resources but my budget is still slightly limited, so I don't care if I have 2 DB1 Archfiend Soldiers and 1 DCR. I just need it into the deck.

HOWEVER, the only "flair" I would love to flash one day is the triple Kuriboh threat of the Original, The Holo, and the ever elusive "Purple Kuriboh"

Oh, and an Angry Kuriboh will suffice too 8^D
 
I use the holos in my decks whenever I can. I personal thing, I suppose. I might as well use the cards I bought.

I watch my decks like a hawk, and in 2+ years of dueling I haven't had a deck (or a single card for that matter) stolen.

I like my holos, especially my pair of 1/e Horus Level 8's. :)
 
In my main deck I try to get cards that are the rarest. Why? Cause it looks cool and makes it valuable, but when I don't have the rarer version I get the commoner version and switch it out until I get the rarer version. An all holo deck filled with rare cards look so cool.
