Well, Stage6 shut down a couple of weeks ago, and while the Internet lost a great resource, it carved out yet another notch in it's unique history. With that said, another site is picking up the slack where Stage6 left off. www.veoh.com.

The reason I'm advertising this site, is because there's a place there where you can watch full episodes of entire television series, both old and new. You can catch up on a missed episode of CSI:

Watch your favorite episode of Buffy: The Vampire Slayer:

Or, if you like me, reminisce on a series you thought was long forgotten, like Buck Rogers in the 24 Century:

[ame="http://www.veoh.com/videos/v168695095W67XaR"]Online Video: Planet of the Slave Girls Part 1 | Veoh Video Network[/ame]

Or the ground breaking Hawaii Five-0:

Their videos are also for download like Stage6, and of course, they have more then just TV Shoes. Suffice it to say, the service isn't perfect. (Looks like not all the videos are embedding here) But the fact that it exists at all is significant. And with enough people visiting the site, we can help to work out the bugs.

And, of course, remember that media from Veoh also embeds on our forum, as you can see. (Just remember to keep it within the terms of service. ;)) So hopefully we can share some unique video with each other. As always, have fun peoples.

Hmm, interesting.I wonder what they worked out with the networks in order to be able to do this cause under normal circumstances they are not allowed to.Sounds pretty good for us users though. With this veoh could get a pretty good share of youtube's viewers, they just need more videos with regular people :p

It appears it's as simplistic enough as each network has an account there. I noticed that just a few weeks ago, CBS and NBC started putting old shows on their site, exactly the same shows they have a Veoh. I also notice, that new shows are being added and removed just as they are at CBS and NBC. You can only watch the last three broadcast episodes on CBS.com of CSI, and the same is true here. (Only they don't add the most recent rerun, which I kinda like. It was annoying to have reruns posted all summer long.)

In another sidenote, if you are a Netflix subscriber, you may not realize that you have online viewing time to your account as well. I believe that all the accounts, minus the most basic one, now have unlimited viewing time. Some series, like Lost and others, have the complete seasons viewable online. Not all the movies are there, but for kicks last week, the Mrs. and I had a Karate Kid marathon from the comfort of our bed while the rain was coming down. Sure the quality isn't movie grade, but it is a nice service.

The video you requested has been removed or is not available in your region.
That's what all the videos are showing me. Any ideas which option is the reason?

It looks like it's either an imperfection with Veoh embed code, or we're having some AME issues. This won't work for anyone else, but try something and see if this works. Click Edit on my post, and after the inline editing opens just click Cancel. This seems to be fixing all but the Buck Rodgers video for me.

Didn't work. The play bar showed up for a splitsecond, and it seemed it was trying to access something (a loading spinning symbol in the middle of the frame), but then it went back to the message. That happens for all the videos. I've tried it several times.

Maybe they just don't like the UK. Wouldn't be the only ones (Shonen Jump...).

Might be UK users aren't set up to watch the same URLs. Did you try clicking the link titles to see if they play for you on Veoh?

Not available in my country. It's a shame to see segregation on the Internet, the only truly international (or non-national) place in the world.
