What about the effect of token monsters?

Tokens are considered like monsters for all porpose, but are they considered normal monster cards? Or effect monster cards?
Or some are some tokens considered normal and some considered effect monsters?

This is an important question, Ceasefire will be more powerful if tokens can inflict damage...

All Token Monsters are considered Normal Monsters while they are on the field. Ceasefire will not count them.

Any effects that happen as a result of some interaction with the token (usually being destroyed) comes from the card that generated the token, not the token itself.

And if I can add to that, all tokens are considered Normal Monster Cards. So if an effect looks for a card, not just a monster (like Raigeki Break for example) it will still affect the token because it is still considered a card.
