what EXACTLY is a chaos deck??

they genraly revolve around getting out chaos sorcerer as far as im aware
 
its a deck that uses Light and Dark Monzters.
alot of people use 3 cyber dragons in them too
and Return From the Different Dimension

a while ago
before the Banned list was based on reason

there were cards like
Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning
and
Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of The End

this was the start of chaos

these cards plagued the game with their brokenness (overpowered)

so the Great Lord Konami Banned them to spend eternity in traditional format with all the other cards like raigeki and Harpie's Feather Duster...

These Days all that remains is their brother Chaos Sorcerer
who still runs around in threes free of restriction.

chaos decks dont just use ANY dark/light monsters..o no they try to use the ones that give them "advantage"

Cyber Dragons

and a whole bunch of boring flip effects...
 
And here's me thinking Chaos was simply BLS-EotB, CED-EotE and/or Chaos Sorcerer (the "Chaos" bit referring to the LIGHT and DARK monsters needed for them, as seen in Yugi vs Pegasus when he Ritual Summons his Magician of Black Chaos). Naturally, the rest of the Deck will contain LIGHT and DARK monsters because of it, and ones with good effects too. The game just so happens to be twisted in that some of the best Effect Monsters are LIGHT or DARK. And that's a shame.

As opposed to all the other types of decks wherein the goal is to use cards that offer no advantage?
 
once the new bann list was made, the power of the chaos decks has gone DOOWN. no bls, no ced, yep, they gone weak. a deck with a goal to summon chaos sorcerer? lame! but the charm of the chaos deck doesent lies in a power of a 1 single moster, but in the quick summon of medium monsters (heres where cyber dragons come in). i dont know what some people see in chaos decks and i also dont know why noone considert the fiend megacyber ( i know its harder to summon as the cyber dragon, but its a dark monster, has more attack and it can still be usefull)

the mostly i dont know wtf a chaos deck is and why people loves it so
 
And since I don't think it as mentioned, the reason the decks were called "Chaos" to begin with is because of the set Chaos Emperor Dragon and Black Luster Soldier came from: "Invasion of Chaos".

Thunder Dragon's better if you want it in the Graveyard quickly. But Thunder Nyan Nyan's better for being a 1900 Level 4 attacker, with only a slightly detrimental effect. It depends what you want from the card.
 
I used to use it. It was good too when you were beating down on the opponent with a bunch of light creatures and they dont know why they didnt torrential/mirrorforce/bottomless when they had/have the chance. Its rediculous the kind of things you can get away with becuase some players are used to certain cards bashing their face in.
