LOL this is worth points people, think a little harder. Here's a hint:

-read the statement
-read it again in 2 hours

The statement is ambiguous. Is the act of visiting professors boring? Or, is there a chance that the professors who are visting are also boring?
 
Well, it all depends on your intentions. Say you're reading this in a newspaper. Did the writer mean to say that he was at a professor's house and it was boring? Well, you could have interpreted it differently and thought he/she meant to say he/she was hosting a boring professor.

Maybe not funny "ha ha," but funny in an ironic sense because the same sentence can have multiple meanings, even if the author intended it to be one way instead of another.
