Why did you pick your avatar?

I've said this about every chance I get, but Great Maju Garzett is my FAVORITE card in the game. I'm a power gamer and this card takes perfect advantage of the tribute mechanic.

It all started shortly after Soul Of The Duelist was released. I just got interested in the game a bought a box of SOD. In two of the packs I got Master Of Oz and thought "WOW! a 4200 ATK monster needing only two monsters? I gotta put good use to this" And a few days later an old friend of mine showed me a card from his collection he thought would go well with MOO. (trying not to sound creepy here) It was love at first sight. Both GMG and MOO have been staples of my deck ever since. And once The Earth - Hex-Sealed Fusion was released, summoning the 8400 attacker became easier than ever.

Bottom line, I love this card :gift :headbang :woot :bouncy :kissy :redface
(now I'm embaressed)

it used to be "a man with a widjat" 'cause i ran it in almost every deck i used...but i noticed a few others using it so i switched to old vindictive...picture a homer simpson looking dude smacking you down with a heavy mech equipped jinzo a def pos bes tetran hammering your back row and a set solemn judgement.....and that cursed dasher poking one eye out of the gravyard....heh :p

I picked my avatar because, BEWD in my opinion is the best normal monster. It is one of kind the only one that I known of to be played in threes. Other normal monster themed decks such as Dark Magician, REBD, and Elemental Hero Neos are more difficult to play with but have some versatility. Also this monster has a lot of support and has its own three monster fusion just like Cyber Dragon. No other normal monster has an ATK higher than BEWD. My signature also explains my avatar.

When I first started, my Avatar was Lightning Punisher. I loved the way he looked, and I have an odd liking for Thunder monsters. But now I switched to Destiny Hero - Fear Monger, because...he's got a cannon for an arm! So does Cyber-Stein, but Fear Monger's looks more menacing. ^_^

Because the Shonen Jump BEWD is the most awesome art for the BEWD ever.

It captures the power and the majesty of the card perfectly.

That's why I run three in my BEWD deck.

My avatar came from sentimential reasons. When I first started playing (LOB days!) Neo always seemed to pop up and win the duel for me. Besides, being a "Mystic Swordsman" is kinda cool.

i have the mad king of the dark world as mine becuase it was the first ultimate i pulled out of the set at the sneak peak, also i love the art for it, and becuase of his effect its something most people aren't going to be running in most deck types

Rescue Cat was a favorite of mine and was the longest running deck I ever played (over 6 months). That's why I had that. As for the current one... well... it's kinda obvious if you check out my trade thread.

:eek:ldbgrin

why enemy controller, well its one of the most vercitile cards in the game, i know for a fact that i won the finals of a tournament because of it:D

this card is annoys the **** out of all my friends, and its a cool roid and I dont think the roids get the respect they deserve.

because it just seems like an ispirational card.. and that is how I am ... I try to be an inspiration to those around me and in my life.... so this avatar was the best that i found to represent that ...

I have Dark Paladin, because it's signature card of my deck and because I like spellswords and he is one even though he's labeled as spellcaster.
