wicked gods

No real reason. Just because they decided to. I don't see what good three more unplayable cards would have done the game anyway, other than to give Yu-Gi-Oh! forums more reason to hate on kids asking questions about a set of cards they can't play. For some reason, most forums are sensitive about God Card questions. I personally think it's stupid. If you don't tell people why, they'll keep asking. That's just how it works.

I think we have a God Card mix-up here. gabrele is talking about the Wicked Gods (Eraser, Avatar, and Dreadroot), which are allowed to be played. Digital is probably thinking of the Egyptian Gods.

For one thing, the Wicked Gods require 3 Tributes to be summoned so you have to put a little work into getting one out. They can't be Special Summoned, so making sure they survive is important. Their effects are useful in some situations but they aren't necessarily groundbreaking. Since there are also plenty of monster removal effects that are used, not being able to destroy them in battle, if that's the case, doesn't pose too much of a problem.

Basically, you need to put a bit of effort into playing the Wicked Gods, so any sort of limitation for them isn't really needed. That's why you don't see them used in high level tournaments, if at all.

Well, that's why I said I didn't see what three more unplayable cards would have done for the game. As in, in "addition to" the Egyptian God Cards, what good would three more unplayable cards have done. As in, that's why their not forbidden. As in, the answer to his question. ;)

thanks for clearing that up:eek:h and no one would want to destroy Eraser(do to its 2nd effect)(or even want it summoned [3rd effect] & [/COLOR]the opponet want to play cards(thanks to its first effect) & that really would pose a problem now wouldn’t it.;) Avatar is almost imposible to destroy with nomal attacks(or with trap hole like cards that need original ATK over a certain number) thanks to its effect; its the same way with Eraser!
