Windstorm of Etaqua vs. Final Attack Orders

HI guys,
I got a small little question:
Will a short change of battle-position prevent an attack?
For example:
Player A got an active Final Attack Orders on his side of the field. Now Player B wants to attack with a mighty Gemini Elf. Player A responses with Windstorm of Etaqua. Nobody wanna chain so it reolves: Windstorm of Etaqua change the Gemini Elf in defence-position and immediatly after that the continuos effect of Final Attack Orders resolves and turns it back in attack-position. Does the attack of Gemini Elf go on?

The attack continues since the attacking monster is return to attack position before the attack resolves. I know there is a ruling on this somewhere but for the life of me I can't find it.

What DJ said was correct. If an attack position monster is switched to defense position and then back to attack position in the same chain, its attack will go through. However, the effect of any monster that is dependant on being changed from attack to defense position (Dream Clown) or simply ending up in defense position (Berserk Gorilla) will activate as result.
