Have A Blast! as well as Flame Trap (I already ran Flame Trap before I faced the Xavier's Dream deck, just seems to work good against any non-curve deck).

Figure in these days what deck doesn't run it's fair share of Ongoing Plot Twists and Locations, especially top tier decks, including CS with Total Anarchy or Micro-Sentinels so yeah, Have A Blast! might be a good tech card for CS in the future with all these Xavier's Dream, Dr. Light (they use Devil's Due and team-ups to be effective), Gamma Doom (take away a Doomstadt or something), Teen Titans (USS Argus, Optitron, etc.), TNB (just what it says, The New Brotherhood), so you can see the diversity of it being a good tech card.

Now I just gotta figure out what I'm gonna take out of my CS deck to work it in, =/. I don't want to take a Savage out... but it looks like I'll have to.

I'm going to attempt the Xavier's Dream build and see if I can't tweak it just a little. I know what it's supposed to run, but it's the first build I've seen that's truly broke, but that I think I can improve on. We'll see.
 
Yeah I bought the last 2 Savage Beatdowns I needed off of eBay right before PCNY. It looks like the only room I've got is to take out one of the 4 Savage Beatdowns for a Have A Blast!...

I'll playtest the deck both ways and see what I can do...
 
Woah!!!! It seems like the PCQ in the Phillipines have people that are capable of using Xavier's Dream. Maybe I was wrong that that card was useless. Come to think of it, whent the PCQ (10K) comes to Singapore next month (July 7 & 8). I will be sure to witness some strong decks. BTW do you need any Pro Circuit credits to get in? I thinking of entering the Sealed to get the Apocalypse Promo card which is given to the top 64 in the tournament.
 
No, you only need PC points to get into a Pro Circuit tournament, PCQs and 10Ks you only show up for, fill out a decklist (unless it's sealed of course then you do what you normally do with any sealed event) pay $20-$25 (or nations equivalent currency) and you're in the tournament.

Also the promo is now Have A Blast!, not Apocalypse (I know what the UDE site says but they haven't updated that), Have A Blast! was started as the new 10K promo just this past weekend at PCNY and will be the 10K promo until the next Pro Circuit at GenCon Indy.
 
As far as I have seen, the PCQ in my area did not give out any Promo cards during the last PCQ and is set to be the case of not giving out any more promo cards in the near PCQs. I am still wondering will this "rule" of them makes it that even the 10k would have no promos.

Also, I don't quite get you on when I need the circuit credits.
 
You only need PC credits to enter tournaments that are listed here http://www.ude.com/procircuit

Anything else you enter you do not need PC Credit points to enter. Also as far as the promo cards go you may want to report that to UDE. All PCQ top 8 and 10K top 64 are supposed to recieve specific promo cards.

Currently until PC Indy those cards are Overload for PCQ's and Have A Blast! for 10K's.
 
Ok. Thanks. If let's say they registered you wrongly in the tournament, I can also report to UDE right? For my experience, it is in a store where they hold a tournament, I did not go for it and they registered me and then I lost to another guy who did took part. However, I did not play. They took my UDE number when I entered the tournament the previous time. Can I report that to UDE as well? If yes, may I know the e-mail address to do so. Thanks a lot.
 
Check at http://www.ude.com/op for email addresses, since I think you mentioned you live in the Phillipines it's probably a good bet you don't have to contact the American office, but someone else.

As far as your tournament goes, mistakes like that happen often, for instance it happened to me with the Columbus, OH SJC in February. Even though I was there and not playing (I played the VS 10K that weekend) if you check my UDE number stats you'll see that it says I played the SJC and lost 3 rounds before dropping, which is untrue. I've emailed about it and the result can't be changed, so I'm pretty sure you'll get the exact same response.
 
I'm a liitle late on the response, but Flame Trap won't work since they'll just flip up total anarchy and ko thier guys for the counter. Its a really original deck I just think people are tring to abuse it a little too much already. That and the Dr. Light Deck...
 
I was talking about Flame Trap against the Dr. Light deck, lol.

I know all too well about the experience of Total Anarchy against the Xavier's Dream deck.
 
lol... my bad... Yeah flame trap royally screws up the doctor light deck. That's how I beat the one I was playing....

I flame trapped on turn 3 with total anarchy out. Then I dropped scarlet witch on turn 5 to make sure that he didn't pull the combo on me.
 
Flame Trap on turn 3?... isn't Flame Trap a 4 cost threshold, which means you could only activate it as early as turn 4....

Wouldn't your rating drop which will affect you to play in the Pro Circuit which requires credit or a ratinbg of 2650? You mean they can't do anything but to leave it there?
 
The rating cut off that you speak of is for Ratings Invites. You need either 10 PC points (which you get through PCQ's, 10K's, and previous PC's you may have played), or a rating of 2650+. For instance, I didn't have 10 PC points, but I did have a rating of 2650+ so I was qualified for this past PC in NY.

The rating invite cut off will continue to rise and will most likely be 2700+ at PC Indy in August if there's any cut off at all.

This is starting to resemble the discussion we were having at VS Realms about the deck. I chalk it's success up at Philly just due to the surprise factor, it won't happen again.

If so, what exactly are Foiled, Have a Blast!, Search and Destroy, The Source, Sonic Gun, Slilt-Man, Beast + Flame Trap or Doomstadt + Latveria and Flame Trap going to do against this deck?

"Foiled" and "Have a Blast!"? This is why the deck runs 4 Fizzles.

"Search and Destroy"? Fizzles again, and Longshot will just fill thier hand again.

"The Source" I can see, but how often are you going to run up against New Gods? And thats IF they get to it by turn six.

Sonic Gun only removes +1 ATK/+1 DEF Counters and thats only from characters.

Stilt-man likewise only gets his effect if a character gains a counter.

Flame Trap + Beast? The Deck actually runs a Flame Trap + Beast. Thank you?

Doomstadt + Latveria and Flame Trap? Again, thank you?

Spider-Evasion is about the only thing I see giving it a problem, and thats simply becasue the characters keep stunning themselves. And those pesky "Nice Try"s
