XYZ FUSION MONSTERS

"You CAN remove a face-down "X-Head Cannon", etc., from play to Special Summon on of these monsters from the Fusion Deck."

So can you have all 3 monsters face down and still remove them to special summon XYZ? example *have Y, and Z face down* Set X head cannon face down for that turn, Remove XYZ face down monsters to summon XYZ dragon cannon?

"The Special Summoning of these monsters from the Fusion Deck has no Spell Speed and cannot be chained to (but can be negated with "Solemn Judgment")."

Does this mean after you remove the XYZ pieces and the new XYZ monster hits the field your oppenent can not chain such cards as torrential tribute, bottomless trap hole, etc because they are chained to the summoning of XYZ?

You can do this, yes.

Cards such as Torrential Tribute and Bottomless Trap Hole do not respond to the Special Summon. The Special Summon does not start a chain as chain link #1. What you are able to do, though, is activate your cards AFTER the monster has been Summoned. That's when you're supposed to activate them. You cannot chain them to the Special Summon because at that point the monster has not actually been Summoned yet.

This is probably a better statement. Torrential Tribute and Bottomless Trap Hole can respond to ANY summon, as long as it is the LAST thing to happen, and is not in the Damage Step.

You can't ever "chain" to a summon, only an effect created "by" the summon.
