Wouldn't that fit into looking in a mirror? You see yourself(itself) and it's you(it) but it isn't you(it), it is your(it's) reflection but it is you(it) but it's not because what you see is the opposite of you(itself).

Maybe that's what you're intending...the opposite of what the clue is intending. It's not itself but the opposite? Maybe something that can attack while not in attack position? Hmmm...
