Their all manga, yes but more importantly, look at the characters- they're all girls in "sailor" uniforms. I'm quite sure the "spinach" comment refers to Popeye, the Sailor Man and if that's the case, the only "sailor" man would be Tuxedo Mask.

Would it be Melchid the Four-Face Beast?

Or possibly the Witty Phantom?
 
If it's sailoring you are looking for, there are plenty of boats and sea fairing cards, like Yomi Ship. Hey, just for kicks, has anybody guessed Tsukuyomi? It has a Book of Moon effect. Get it?

Well, you're right about Captain Planet being an Elemental Hero. Now combine that with what we talked about earlier about sailors.

In other words, the next poster wins.

Yeah, that's the one.

The most distinctive feature of the Sailor Moon series is the costumes. I also subtly suggested the word "before" as a clue (I'm too lazy to find where), indicating that you should look at the phrase spoken prior to "In the name of the Moon, et cetera!", which is, "Ai to seigi no, sera fuku bishoujo sensi, Sailor Moon!". Sailor fuku, the costume, a sailor outfit.

Sailor, mariner, same difference. And Elemental Hero Mariner does indeed wear the sailor fuku collar scarf thing.

To point to "sailor fuku" even more, I suggested other anime series that were primarily school children series, whose uniforms were sailor fukus.

And also, the clues were in purple, so Fusion Monster Card.

Quite obvious, I thought, but you kept going in the wrong directions.

just because i like making cards in the create a card thread that use spell counters doesn't mean i'll pick a card that uses them.
