Yeah, none of those are right. I'm beginning to suspect you're entirely forgetting the clue here, and going on those song lyrics instead (particularly Jathro ;) ).

Could mean a planet's rotation. I know one follows a retrograde orbit, I just can't remember which one...

AND if the song lyrics are to mean the Sailor Scouts then how about...

I like that thinking. I had a little chuckle when I read it.

However, your guesses are wrong. You're not reading the whole of my first clue. Ignore the "straightforward" stuff now. We've already established it's a Sailor Moon reference. (At least, I hope we have. Otherwise I just gave away a major step...)
