Konami decides to reward us with 2 Parallel Rare trading cards - Dark Magician's Knight and Knight's Tale (Knight's Title I presume). A game that reprinted 2 GBA games should have given us whatever cards from them we did not get, like Satellite Cannon for example. Thanks a lot Konami.
 
First off, I thought we already had Dark Magician Knight and Knight's Title. Back in some gameboy game or maybe even power of chaos: Yugi. I don't remember which but I know I have seen it before.

Second, what kind of double pack are you talking about? Rereleased American Game Boy Advance games or Japanese games or something else?

Theres no reason to, I don't think YGO can effectively compete with MTG for serious players imo.
 
Because the Audience they are trying to appeal to. Really, do you think konami cares about the hardcore players?

He's talking about the american rereleased games, Sacred Cards + Reshef of Destruction.

Dark Magician Knight and Knight's Title were cards from Reshef of Destruction, together with Sage's Stone.

Too bad they left Sage's Stone out.


I think that I will buy this double pack, I just love parallel rares and I don't have Reshef of Destruction yet (I have Sacred Cards though).
 
I've got an idea. We could write a petition to send to UDE and Konami addressing why they should start releasing better promotional cards with their products. We could cover several issues including the great number of players who'd like to see these cards, how greatly it could change the metagame, and how much sales they would inevitably make. Such a petition could be drafted in a manner similar to that of the Declaration of Independence or the United States Constitution. A thread would be started in which members of the forum could submit articles concerning promos and the best ideas would be collected into one polite, but persuasive letter. After completion anyone who supports the idea of better promotional cards would be allowed to place their name on the petition. Perhaps the petition could even be circulated to other fellow Yu-Gi-Oh! forums and message boards. When we have reached a certain amount of signatures, or when Konami/UDE has greatly disappointed us yet again with promos, we shall send the petition. With such a great amount of players (and paying customers) concerned, they will nearly have to listen. Anyone interested?

Good point, only... it's useless to send it to UDE when you're talking about the game promos, because they don't have anything to say about those, the game promos are a decision made by Konami only ;)

But they could release some older promos from japan games that haven't been released yet in English with double packs.

These are a few that haven't been released yet and came from games:
- Dunames Dark Witch (light/fairy/4/1800/1050, normal monster)
- Garmasword + ritual
- Cyber Alligator
- Time Capsule
- Magic Arm Shield
- Toon Dark Magician Girl
- F.G.D. (fusion of 5 dragons)
- Master of Dragon Knight (fusion of BEUD + BLS ritual)

You could suggest some of them ;)

You've presented another good idea. In addition to persuading Konami to give us better promotional cards we can suggest what the majority of players would like to see. They'd be insane (or stupid) not to release something if they knew, and were nearly guaranteed,people would buy it.

No, I believe he was talking about the card used by Bandit Keith in Duelist Kingdom. The one he used to revive Barrel Dragon. It sort of resembled a large meat locker, in my opinion.
