okay so i got this game yesterday or something like that. and starting off its a big 1 up.

there are packs from LOB-SOI, and to top it all off the forbidden list is based off the OCG list.

so tribe is welcomed and so forth in this game.

also, No more Yugi and the gang for the first time in a WC200* game.

now you play in levels.

Level 1 consists of:
Kuriboh, Scapegoat, Skull servant, Watapon, and white magician PIkeru.

each one has a unique deck.

Kuriboh has some funny Flute of SUmmoning Kuriboh + the ovious Lajin + Beatdown.

Scapegoat runs a Skilldrain deck with the ovious Fusiler beatdown madness.

Skullservant runs its trademark skull servant king.

Watapon was a bit wierd but its not that hard to beat, i forgot what it was about too.

and PIkeru is like li***ain and light types.

its wierd.

but overall the game is kool gets some nice practice shots.

the Duel PuZzles for this game are much harder than GX. They really really make you think on every move that you make.

you gain DP and you buy packs with DP or buy the cards singles.

9600 dp for thouse looking for Tsukuyomi ;) lol

also you start the game out as a player.
you put your name
pick your avatar.
and pick your deck

the choices are
dragon - Spellcaster.

these are exact replicas of our real Structure decks.

so make sure you read up on each list before you randomely pick one.

welps have fun everybody :D

ooo sooorrryyyy. lol

the promos are
  • Golden Homunculos
  • Primival Sun helios
  • Helios Megestos duo
Somethingl ike that. lol

THis is off the konami sight, and im just trying to remember the names off the top of my head. for more info check out www.dmcomet.net they already got word on their forums. :)

i haven't seen it in stores yet, but i have 3 copies reserved at toys r us when it does come in....i'll rip one of the games to a rom on my comp so i can play it with vba, keep the 3 sets of promos then ebay the games

Ok I am playing this game on ROM since some days ago. This game is by far THE best representation of the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG. This game has the biggest number to date, and PRIORITY is in this game. Sure there are bugs, but minor ones. In fact from what I see there are no bugs per say, just how cards are supposed to work. Like Rope of Soul has this odd activation requirement, like it does not activate when your monster dies in battle. Also De-Fusion will not Special Summon a Cyber Dragon and a Proto-Cyber Dragon.

Right now this is about as close as we can get and I am testing out different aspects to the rulings and gameplay. There is a declare your attack target, then battle step, then damage step. Then there is priority. Right now I am testing out scenarios with Water Dragon and this has produced such a good response.

Scenario A-1
(1 Water Dragon, Oxygeddon, Blowback Dragon out).

I activate Symbol of Heritage to Special Summoned 1 Hydrogeddon. I respond to the summon with Torrential Tribute. I chain to Torrential Tribute with Offerings to the Doomed. Chain link resolves as Offerings to the Doomed < Torrential Tribute. Water Dragon is destroyed first and everything else is destroyed. The effect has missed its timing.

Scenario A-2
(1 Water Dragon, 1 Oxygeddon, and 1 Blowback Dragon out).

I activate Symbol of Heritage to Special Summoned 1 Hydrogeddon. I respond to the summon with Offerings to the Doomed. I chain to Offerings to the Doomed with Torrential Tribute. Chain link resolves as Torrential Tribute < Offerings to the Doomed. Water Dragon and everything else is destroyed at the same time. Water Dragon activates its effect allowing me to Special Summon 2 Hydrogeddon and 1 Oxygeddon.

Scenario B-1
(1 Water Dragon, 1 Oxygeddon, 2 Hydroggedon, and 1 Blowback Dragon)

I activate Bonding - H2O and Tribute 2 Hydrogeddon and 1 Oxygeddon. Water Dragon is Special Summoned. In response to the summon I activate Torrential Tribute, then chain with Offerings to the Doomed. The chain numbering is [1] TT and [2] OTTD. The chain link resolves with Offerings to the Doomed destroying the newly summoned Water Dragon, then Torrential Tribute destroys the other monsters on my field. The first Water Dragon in the Graveyard has missed its timing to activate its effect. The Water Dragon sent to the Graveyard with everyone else has the chance to activate its effect and Special Summons 2 Hydrogeddon and 1 Oxygeddon.

Scenario B-2
(1 Water Dragon, 1 Oxygeddon, 2 Hydroggedon, and 1 Blowback Dragon)

I activate Bonding - H2O and Tribute 2 Hydrogeddon and 1 Oxygeddon. Water Dragon is Special Summoned. In response to the summon I activate Offerings to the Doomed, then chain with Torrential Tribute. The chain numbering is [1] OTTD and [2] TT. The chain link resolves with Torrential Tribute destroying every monster on the field, then Offerings to Doomed resolves without destroying Water Dragon. Both Water Dragon are able to activate its effect and form a chain and Special Summons 3 Hydroggeddon and 2 Oxygeddon in total on my side of the field.

Scenario C-1
(1 Water Dragon, 1 Oxygeddon, 1 Blowback Dragon)

I activate my face-down card Special Hurricane by discarding Seal of Heritage. I chain with Offerings to the Doomed and target Water Dragon. I chain again with another Offerings to the Doomed and target my Blowback Dragon. The chain numbering is [1] SH [2] OTTD - WD [3] OTTD - BD. The chain link resolves with Offerings to the Doomed destroying Blowback Dragon, then Offerings to the Doomed destroys Water Dragon, then Special Hurricane resolves without effect since no other monster is destroyed by its effect. Water Dragon then activates its effect and Special Summons 2 Hydrogeddon and 1 Oxygeddon.

Scenario C-2
(1 Water Dragon, 1 Oxygeddon, 1 Blowback Dragon)

I activate my face-down card Special Hurricane by discarding Seal of Heritage. I chain with Offerings to the Doomed and target Blowback Dragon. I chain again with another Offerings to the Doomed and target my Water Dragon. The chain numbering is [1] SH [2] OTTD - BD [3] OTTD - WD. The chain link resolves with Offerings to the Doomed destroying Water Dragon, then Offerings to the Doomed destroys Blowback Dragon, then Special Hurricane resolves without effect since no other monster is destroyed by its effect. Water Dragon has missed the timing.

Scenario C-3
(Everything is exactly the same as Scenario C-1, except Premature Burial was discarded to activate Special Hurricane and I activated Seal of Heritage to Special Summon 1 Hydrogeddon in Defense Position.)

The chain numbering is [1] SH [2] OTTD - WD [3] OTTD - BD. The chain resolves with Offerings to the Doomed destroying Blowback Dragon, then Offerings to the Doomed destroys Water Dragon, then Special Hurricane destroys Hydrogeddon. Water Dragon has missed the timing.

The reason I bought this up is to sure that this is pretty much as accurate as we are going to get with rulings and gameplay mechanics without waiting for rulings and what not from UDE. It finally makes sense. It is not the CHAIN LINK itself that would have prevented it, it is the fact it still needs to be the last thing to resolve. If Water Dragon is destroyed first by Offerings to the Doomed and then Torrential Tribute destroys everything else the effect will not activate. However, if it was reversed and Torrential Tribute destroyed everything first it would. So, if I Special Summon Water Dragon, my opponent responds with Bottomless Trap Hole, I can then chain with Torrential Tribute saving my monster and getting my monsters back. This pretty much is what I had wished would have happened in the situation.

well you have to remember that this is the software that will be used during Worlds 2006. so oviously it needs to be as close to the actual OCG/TCG as it can be.

Its mostly due to the fact that the GBA game and TCG/OCG has to flow along together somewhat how

MTGO and MTG flow together as close as possible.

so in this instance Konami wants to reach a new height.

Yeah, what even further convinced me this was as close as possible was because Bottomless Trap Hole now works the way it does with UDE giving us Konami's reverse on it. Since I did not have a manual or anything, it took me awhile to figure out how to get a pop-up every instant like in the old games when I want to activate a card. This can happen even if I have nothing to activate which I like and all you have to do to even get this is hold down the button. I kept wondering why I could not activate a certain card like Threatening Roar until my monster was declared as the target for the attack.

That reminds me. When I summoned a different monster, I had priority to activate Cyber-Stein or Blowback Dragon effect that was already on my field. Does that mean we get priority like that IRL? Yeah I know what you mean though about it being crazy, but now that I know what to do it makes sense and easier. No more being forced with all those screens popping up.

sounds like im gonna enjoy beating this game :D

other than the gx gba game, most of the others were a bit of a let down....but this one is shaping up to be a good one.

least it will give me something to play at work

This game is byond perfect. Sure there are some cards missing which are odd given the entire selection you are given. Like off the bat from what I saw, Double Spell and Barrel Dragon were not in there game, which would mean the fusion for Barrel Dragon and Blowback Dragon is not in the game. With Double Spell being in my Elixir Deck would have been card for card exactly the same as it is in the TCG. I am just going to use the game to test all the fun Decks I want to make using Deck Studio and test out on YVD or this game like Dark Scorpions Deck, Full Charge Deck, Guardian Deck, and so on.

Most Def. cause the games before GX were a bit of a bummer.

NT was aight but not really something to be Proud of. and 7 Trials to Glory when it was released was not that bad, but they could have had done better.

but man GX all its missing is priority. Other than that, it would be as close to EX as anything.

Dandelyon is in this game as well as some of the most recent and older PP promos that got released in japan.

I know i imputed a bunch of codes and they worked. :D
