Yubel Deck

Sadly I only have one Metal reflect slime. It's now in the place of my last embodiment of apophis.

I'm thinking of dropping the Dark Eruptions in favor of Rare gold or maybe generation shift to speed up Yubel.

Well here my deck i played at a tourney got 2nd place.

Monsters: 20

2x Yubel
2x Yubel - Terror Incarnate
1x Yubel - the Ultimate Nightmare
2x Doom Shaman
3x Armageddon knight
3x Mystic Tomato
3x Asura Priest
3x the Calculator
1x Sangan

Spells: 12

3x Swing of Memories
2x Foolish Burial
2x Reinforcements of the Army
1x Heavy Storm
1x Mystical Space Typhoon
1x Nobleman of the Crossout
1x Premature Burial
1x Giant Trunade

Traps: 13

3x Drop Off
3x Dark Illusion
3x Metal Reflect Slime
2x Pot of Avarice
1x Torrential Tribute
1x Mirror force

noble is for marshmallow, torrential is also very good at getting lvl 3 yubel out faster. mostly wht i usually do is just use shaman with swing to get out yubel from my grave turn ends you get a lvl 2 yubel easy. A pot of avarice will definitely help you especial when yubel lvl 2 starts wiping out your own monsters

Well, it's been a while but here she is again. Tweaked and running pretty darn smooth.

Limit Reverse adds such a boost in speed to this deck and opens up some great new strategies to get Terror Incarnate out.

And now, with Lightsworn running rampant in the game All I have to do is side in two Light Imprissoning Mirrors and BAM! No more Light Sworn.

Alright, last build this deck was capping at about 70%.

This build SHOULD (No play test yet) add another 5%-10% to speed.

At my local Tourney today someone mentioned a 1700atk monster called Abysmal Shark or something that was able to survive Yubel 2's destruction effect?

i really dont see what swing of memories can do for this deck..

the text reads

Special Summon 1 Normal Monster from your Graveyard. It is destroyed during the End Phase of this turn.

and you have no normal monsters that i can see

Doom Shaman is a gemeni. Which means as long as it's not special summoned Doom Shaman is treated as a normal monster. Which means when it's sent to the grave by let's say Armageddon Knight it's a normal monster. So you can summon Doom Shaman with Swing of Memories and once its summoned Doom Shaman is treated as an effect monster.

Exactly. Then you use Doom to pull Yubel. Yubel nukes Doom and then dies from Dooms effect.

Anyway, here's a revised build.

I've actually managed to take down some of the tougher competitors in my area with this one. One of which is running a near perfect Lightsworn deck.

Nice! Take down those Lightsworn jerks. Yeah mainly back just to say add in Inaba White Rabbit because it helped out when i ran into a stalling deck. Jumped right over the sucker and did some serious damage. and also that Prema is now banned, along with DMoC. Really sucks because i just got one to.
