Wow, so it's been quite a while since my last post (college, etc) but I did manage to make it to two sneaks this past weekend and of course with new boosters come new decks. Idecided to build around probably one of the most underestimated cards in the PTDN spoiler. So let's find out if we were right to do so. Any fixes and rates are greatly appreciated, so thanks in advance.

Monsters: 17

2x Yubel
1x Yubel - Terror Incarnate
1x Yubel - the Ultimate Nightmare
1x Doom Shaman
3x Armageddon knight
3x Mystic Tomato
3x Asura Priest
3x the Calculator

Spells: 12

3x Swing of Memories
2x Foolish Burial
1x Heavy Storm
1x MST
2x RotA
1x Premature Burial
1x Card Destruction
1x Giant Trunade

Traps: 11

3x Solemn Judgment
3x Dark Illusion
3x Metal Reflect Slime
1x Torrential Tribute
1x Call of the Haunted

OK, so I'm guessing everyone is somewhat familiar with this deck. The aim is ofcourse to get yubel out on the field as sson as possible, hence Armagaddon Knight (AK) and Foolish Burial. For those among you who regularly check Metagame, there's a decklist there similar to this one BUT with some important changes. For one thing, Dark Grepher simply doesn't work here. Sure you can discard any Yubels in your hand to special him to the field but since I've only got 4 Yubels, chances are that I'll be able to dump them all in my grave a hell of a lot faster via Foolish and AK (which I've already tested and confirmed). As for the tomato engine, well it obviously serves to get AK out on the field and dump Shaman and all the other yubels in my grave. Of course, should the situation call for it, I can also use them to summon Yubel to the field ann shut down the battle phase.

However, the problem I'm experiencing with this deck is that it doesn't seem to get to my opponent's life points often enough. So my first guess would be to either add more negation (Bribe?) or add more muscle, or possibly some stall ("Begone Knave!"?). Though as usual, I haven't got the faintest idea as to what I should drop and add. I've been testing this deck a lot lately and make no mistake, it can be very nasty. I think with the right fixes it could be tournament worthy, but I can't come up with anymore fixes. So if you think you know something that might help, don't hesitate to reply.
thnx grtz

You could drop card destruction and giant trunade for one lightening vortex and morphing jar. The vortex is one extra way to dump a yubel or shaman from your hand to the graveyard and at the same time clear the field for a hit with calculator. three slimes is possibly over the top ( although each to their own) and you could drop one for a sangan. Sangan searches out a lot in this deck. That would make the deck 21 magic/trap and 19 monsters. A nice balance.
I am hoping to build my own version soon:D .

Now that's what I like to hear :) . you've got some pretty good ideas. I'll be sure to give it a try and let you all know how it turns out.
Thnx

Well since call of the Haunted is banned you could put a mirror force

also if you could fit in a switch ior two it would really help in doing damage to your

It's rare to say this but Mirror Force has little place in a Yubel deck. What you could put in are some Limit Reverse's.

THey add a lot of speed to the Yubel deck.
