I really know little about Yu-Gi-Oh! Online, but am I correct in assuming from the pacing that this is something you can download at the conclusion of your duel? I noticed you could see your player's hand as well. That's a pretty nice feature, and I wouldn't mind seeing more of those types of videos from our users in the future. Maybe add a little more breakdown as to what happened in the end.

The thing I really don't like about YGO Online is that it's a Pay Per Duel type scenerio, instead of a monthly fee to play all you want. It's honestly a shame, really, but it's far, far too expensive to buy a set number of duels instead of just pay for a month and play all you want.

Wow, looks better then gameking, which have alot of bugs, crashes, and cards that are not updated.

But how is it compared to Yugioh Virtual Desktop? I have hard time connecting to that one and gave up.

Wait, you have to PAY to get duelpass for dueling?! How much does it cost?! (I'm probably not going to get it if it cost even 1 cent...)

you get to play for free for a few duels and then it's about $15 per next set of duels. I don't remember how much but I ain't paying for it either.

gameking crashes all the time... via disconnects... so frustrating and is still using the Sept 07 banlist and hasn't updated cards since GLAS as far as I can remember.

Does YVD have anything like a lobby where you can meet people to play? I've not found it.

I've tried KCVDS and it's pretty good but the cards used aren't all there so far as what is available in the US.

YVD has a mIRC server (A program that allows people to connect into the same server to talk. It acts extremely similar to a chatroom). In fact, the YVD community is relatively large, full of all the same types of players you find on any board. It's become a major force to be reckoned with, making Yugi information even faster to come by than Pojo (because of the IMing of chatrooms), although it's necessary for it to usually get its information on what's going on through Pojo. Anyway, it made the XeroCreative community prosper and its boards to become one of the most populated Yu-Gi-Oh! communities out there. Not only does it have a main channel for basic discussion of anything (and duel requests), but also a rulings channel where players and moderators always help duelists by answering their rulings question instantaneously; sometimes we just discuss the general rules or Yu-Gi-Oh/Anime/Video Games, etc. MIRC also has a hundred different channels full of different players, clans, purposes, and friends, as well as the one to two Yu-Gi-Oh! tournaments (sometimes with 1/1 rules, sometimes with swiss, sometimes random) it has a day sponsored by a huge staff that manages all the main channels, answers rulings when they're active, and keeps the peace. It's all free to us, of course.

I'd Fraps my YVD ventures and play around with the video idea around here if I knew how.
I imagine Fraps is just another program that lets you screen capture to video. I use a free program called CamStudio myself. Once you make the capture, you can do some editing in Windows Movie Maker, which all PCs have by now I think, (and I think Mac comes with a movie maker of some kind) and add some music if you want, then upload to YouTube. Post the link here and it will auto-convert to a player. In fact, I've updated our media embedding to support almost all the major video sites. Not all, but most, even a few foreign language ones.

Fraps doesn't work. Camstudio worked. Youtube failed me, but Veoh ended up providing a much better experience with more time features and crispy quality.
