Excuse me, but the effect of the card...? How exactly are you supposed to make the battle damage inflicted 0 if no damage has been inflicted yet? That's why I posted what I did. I read the effect. In order to make battle damage something, you have to have battle damage in the first place...

Isn't how you bring out "Thenien the Great Sphinx" his summoning conditions and not an effect at all? His effect that increases his Life Points is an optional trigger effect, but not how you bring him out. Unless you're not talking about that part. I'm kind of confused...

It's close enough. I said after, they said during. Either way, they pay for the effect and then the damage goes to zero. So there. :P

You activate the effect after damage calculation to negate the damage, so yes, it will occur after they have paid for "Injection Fairy Lily's" effect.

I don't think it activates at all, it just is. Like "Call of the Haunted", you can't chain to the destruction of the monster because it's continuous and doesn't use the chain.

If "Future Fusion" is a continuous effect, then no. If it's a trigger effect that activates the Graveyard, then yes. I'm pretty sure we're dealing with at Continuous Effect like "Call of the Hautned", so "Cyber Phoenix" should save "Chimeratech Overdragon".

Good point. It's being negated as it's destroyed. This means that it's quite possibly true that "Cyber Phoenix" would save "Chimeratech Over Dragon" from "Future Fusion"... Unless Konami rules it otherwise...

Maybe, but the card that was negating "Future Fusion" is going the the Graveyard at the same time. "Jinzo" stays on the field when "Heavy Storm" destroys "Call of the Haunted"...

It would be an illegal activation and it would be returned to the hand. Then you can legally activate it and send the appropriate monsters to the Graveyard from your deck.
