I was just wondering if my opponent could exiled force to destroy the end of anubis as the end of anubis negetes the effects of monsters spells and traps that target and activate in the graveyard?

Yeah. You tribute Exiled Force. It doesn't activate on the field. It goes to the Graveyard or RFP. But it doesn't activate in either of those places.

if exiled forces effect doesn't activate on the field, graveyard or
rfp where does it activate?

ROFL!!! It's funny because it never ends. And it always follows the same course. Someone brings it up and the veterans explain that it doesn't get negated because it's not a Graveyard Effect, then someone posts the "Skill Drain" ruling and says that it is a Graveyard Effect, then the vets explain that the ruling is in error and everyone has been trying to get it changed for a year or more, and, and, and... ROFL!!!

And it could all end if Konami would just take that line out of the "Skill Drain" rulings.

LIMBO!! **runs away laughing hysterically!**
That is probably the most correct term I have heard applied to X-Force's activation zone. So now you have the Field, the GY, the RFG Zone (D.D.) and Limbo. We need support cards to exploit this area. Return from Limbo? (Let's do the Limbo Rock!)

Actually, I really dont see what is funny. Guess it must be going over my head.
Remember that cartoon where the guy tries desperately and ruthlessly to get the treasure map from Bugs Bunny, only to be thwarted at almost every turn, and then in the end he starts laughing hysterically when he finds out the treasure was a carrot or something like that? I'm thinking it's kinda like that.

Limbo isn't an actual game term. It's borrowed from the concept that there is a midway point between Heaven and Hell. Some have even compered it to a waiting room for for people who have yet to go one way or the other. It's also know as Purgatory.

So the term is often used by people when referring to an area of space that has not yet to be defined. Like when your paycheck gets stuck in the system, you say it's lost in Limbo, or when you don't know when an agency is going to get around to handing your case, you say your stuck in limbo. In other words, you don't know where it is.

That's why we've used the term in Yu-Gi-Oh! so much. There are rulings in the game that place a card neither here, nor there. When Sanagn gets destroyed by Solomn Judgment to stop it's Flip Summon, you don't get to search, because he wasn't considered to have gone from the field to the Graveyard. So where was he when he was destroyed? Conversely, if Night Assailant gets destroyed by Solemn Judgment if you normal Summon him, you don't get his effect because he wasn't considered to have gone from the hand either. So where was he destroyed?

That's why we use the term. Their not considered here nor there, so they must be in "Limbo" somewhere. Like I said, it's not a game term, nor an actual place. It's just a way for us to wrap our head around the rulings that fail to define it for us.

can someone plesae tell me what roflmao means and what is so funny?
Rolling On Floor Laughing My Arse Off. And it's probably amusing because it was such a heated debate some time ago over where Exiled Force activated, and that there is STILL an erroneous ruling that should have been removed/changed ages ago.

ROFLMAO = Rolling On the Floor Laughing My Ass Off

The reason this thread is so "funny" is that because the questions of "Will Skill Drain negate Exiled Force?" or "Will The End of Anubuis negate Exiled Force?" come up every so often. As it stands, the rulings seem to contradict one another, yet the powers that be could fix the problem if they would remove the ruling under Skill Drain.

Exactly so.

Well, the fact that this site has a "Search" function, and it wasnt used, is pretty disappointing, even though t's not always good to dredge up a old post, but it could have been referenced, and the better question would have been, "Has there been any change?"

Instead, we create ANOTHER mile long, unresolved (because it will eventually come up again...) "Exiled Force vs Skill Drain vs The End of Anubis vs UDE vs Konami" Thread.

There hasnt been any change, and these are the things that have been ruled on by the Judge List, and by their rulings, influenced other effects...

1. The Skill Drain Ruling is still the same, but obviously wrong (see #4)

2. The End of Anubis cannot negate or prevent Exiled Force's effect (see #3)

3. Exiled Force is NOT a Graveyard Effect (see #2)

4. Skill Drain cannot negate Exiled Force's effect (see #1)
