Only if it's the last thing to happen... in Book of Life's case:
Book of Life
Normal Spell
Special Summon 1 Zombie-Type monster from your Graveyard to the field and remove from play 1 monster in your opponent's Graveyard.
you could because the last action is removing the opponent's (yours)...
Thanks Simon, I needed to learn that an effect trying to resolve and fizzling still counts as something to have happened. Didn't know that. Learning every day.
As soon as the chain resolves, the last thing to have happened is the monster was removed from play, so yes, I think you can now activate Dimensional Inversion. Removing a fizzled Equip Card is not a "thing" that is looked at... my reasoning for this is simple.... if I played Return from the...
Nope they can't D.D. Crow it because... drum roll... it's COST! Woot!
Costs are always paid before any activation... so to play your Gigantes or similar, pay the cost and then play your Gigantes or similar. Rule is, you can't CHAIN to a COST... so they miss the timing for Gigantes, and...
haha, not a reference to cooking... a Cookie Cutter deck is a deck that everyone is using in the tourneys and not one that they built themselves but one copied from the internet or local tourney or whatever. Like right now... Dark Armed Dragon decks are becoming the main Cookie Cutter deck.
It would get turned to Defense as soon as it is hits the field with Premature Burial. Stumbling activates automatically so you can't activate it yourself. You wouldn't have a chance to Normal Summon it until after Stumbling has resolved.
Also, I would assume you cannot change it to Attack...
I looked through the old posts and didn't see this covered... although I did see Simon Key asking questions which made me realize he's mortal, phew!
If a face-up Continuous Spell/Trap Card, say Stumbling is already face-up and resolved on my opponent's side of the field, and my first action of...
With Dark Armed Dragon coupled with Armageddon Knight, Allue of Darkness, Reasoning, Reinforcement of the Army, Stratos, etc... I think I'd side in some Cold Waves to slow done your opponent until you can get your Skill Drains down.
Not sure how you'd add these but a couple of things missing are:
1) Missing the timing.
2) After resolution of a chain, only Spell Speed 2 can be activated by either player... I assume until both pass. See here: http://entertainment.upperdeck.com/COMMUNITY/forums/thread/1060429.aspx and...
back to this old question... does Kurogane, when activated in response to opponent's attack cause a replay? or does the attack go through on the new monster.
you're not overstepping at all... a general concept of how it works is needed... especially in the FD/FU scenario... during the same chain and during the same turn.
what about Return from the Different Dimenion's ruling:
• If a monster Special Summoned by this card is flipped face-down before the End Phase, it will not be removed from play during the End Phase. This includes using a monster's effect to flip itself face-down, such as "Guardian Sphinx"...
Heh, just came into this situation...
Opponent has 2x Solar Flare Dragon on the field:
Solar Flare Dragon
Effect Monster (Pyro / FIRE / 4 Stars / ATK 1500 / DEF 1000)
While there is another Pyro-Type monster on your side of the field, this card cannot be attacked. This card inflicts 500...
