I've never played these or against them and something came up today that I had no idea about... I played Card Destruction and they had Sillva in their hand. They said that he doesn't get special summon since only the 2nd part of his effect kicked in... like his two effects are EITHER/OR but I...
It would work well with Staunch Defender and a high DEF monster. Force your opponent to attack your high DEF monser with all his face-up monsters, twice. Lots of LP loss.
Also add to that Robbin Goblin and you'll clear out his hand.
Thanks Simon, one last question to Curtis' answer #3: Is it correct to say that the reason you can select Command Knight or Solar Flare Dragon is because you, the owner of Command Knight or Solar Flare Dragon, is selecting it as the target and not your opponent? Or other reason?
I too am trying to find a chink in Simon's armor but alas!
add this to what he's saying:
which implies that even though the cost was paid, for Card Trader... shuffling one card into deck, the effect doesn't resolve.... since it's saying you "do no receive a "refund"... and you wouldn't be...

Thanks Emerald, that's what I thought... needed to know that since I played against a deck that had Protector of the Sanctuary face-up on their side and I knew I was going to be able to take him out but was worried I had to play Super Rejuv first, which, I can't while PotS is face-up.

If I've already discarded 1 Dragon-type monster card in MP1 and I activate Super Rejuvination in MP2 (i.e. afterwards) will I get to Draw one card in the End Phase per Super Rejuvination's effect? or does Super Rejuvination have to be...
The more I think about this the more I think that you can Shift Sakurestu to a different face-up target and when resolving that Sakuretsu would NOT destroy the new target. Why? Because when you resolve Sakuretsu you "Destroy the attacking monster." and now the new target is NOT attacking so it...
