Say you activate a Duo. You have to have a 1 other card than Duo to activate Serial Spell, correct?
Im assuming this because Duo is on the field and thus IMO cannot be considered the activation cost of Serial Spell.
Looks like my question was misunderstood.
Ok, lets say that my opponent had a Sangan on the field that was destroyed, send to the graveyard and my opponent retrieves a magician of faith from his deck.
I activate Mind Crush and my opponent discards magician of faith. Now the possibility is...
Unless an opponent discards 3 copies of a card that from his hand for mind crush's effect, may I always check his hand for the resolution of the effect?
Other exceptions are ofcourse Restriced cards, Limited cards, card copies that are already in the graveyard and/or removed from play.
I saw the new errata and I see that TER has now gotten back Relinquished's effect on not dying in battle when equipped with a monster?
Is this correct?
Sorry, if this question has been asked before, but my search attempts to find a similar question were fruitless.
Thanks.
never mind, I found out the answer.
Apparently TER is a cost effect.
Your monster will not die if TER is not faceup on the field for the effect to resolve
Sorry about that.
Two questions.
Is TER a cost effect? If you play metamorphosis and bring out TER, can the turn player claim TER's effect with priority?
If a TER targets a monster and then book of moon is chained to TER's effect making TER go facedown, will the targeted monster die?
Here's a follow up question on last turn.
Last turn triggers a battle outside the battlephase. This is the only logical reason I can think of at the opponent activating Last Turn at his standby phase.
Then, if Last Turn was activated during your opponent's turn, do you get your proper battle...
Exiled, with response to your original question, spell spell 2 cards may be activated either in response to your oppoent' cards or at the end of any particular phase after the said card has been set 1 turn. That is why it is possible for a player to activate waboku at the end of the standby...
Ok, this is two questions really:
If my opponent flips up Magician of Faith, am I able to ask him what spell card he is targeting in his graveyard before I Solemn Judgement MoF. My reasoning is that the Flip effect happens simultaneously with the Summon, so I am able to ask.
For cards like...
Only quickplay spells take the properties of traps when set. All other forms of spells: continous, ritual, equip, etc.. can be set and then activated that turn.
Edit: Except for QP's all spells can be set and activated during the Main Phases.
Is Lava Golem's special summon a "cost" summon?
The reason I ask is because at the tournament today, I was not sure whether when I Solemn Judgemented my opponent's Lava Golem, my monsters were still tributed or not.
If it is still tributed, woe be to the person who's recieving the golem. :-(...
