Let's see. I recently saw the anime/manga which were: Appleseed the Movie(best CG so far, IMO), Bleach(anime), some Black Cat(sp?), some Naruto, some DBZ, and some Full Metal Alchemists.

I've heard that there's a manga for Appleseed. Is that true? Just want to know because the movie was just awsome! Also, there's a game coming out for it on the PS2 which is even better.

appleseed 2004?? was the remake to appleseed 198? lol :D
 
I don't know. I just saw it a few hours ago.

Really, though, there was previous Appleseed movie? If so, I got to see how it looks like and what it's about.
 
hmm on the topic of anime what was the first one u guys ever saw?

mine was Ronin Warriors....i LOVED THAT show...the fire dude pwned...i dont remember his name tho...ryo/ryu/riel..somewhere around that..sage, cye, kento, rowen...ah those were the days...

what's 198 for is that refernce to a year between 1980-1989 or is that just apart of the title????
 
reference to the year, it was 1980-1989 some point in time in thouse 10 years there was a movie called Appleseed, its the same movie as today just that it was 2d. the one in 2004 was in 3d and is suppose to be exact replicate of the manga. If you ever read the manga, then you know they kept as close to it as possible :D

same story, just different makes of it. :D
 
Didnt they play appeased 2004 at Otakon 2004, or was it katsucon 11 or Anime Mid-Atlantic...couldve ben Anime USA.....

At any rate i know it was at one of the kons of 2k4...AMA June 16! WHOOT!

Yes it did pass in theaters, I remember my 3d Teacher telling me he saw it in the big screen :D
 
well yea, its a great movie. :D its probably either along the line or better than Princess Mononoke :) I have both so i watch them both when ever I want lol
 
i have that one either the best anime film i've seen recently is Sprited Away!!!
 
By any chance, does somebody know the name of the old Appleseed movie? I just want to know so I could look it up later.
 
Appleseed, you will recognize the cover becuase its different from the new one. Just look at the year make and you should know which it is.

also Spirit Away wasnt that great, ill be honest i saw parts of it and it didnt appeal to me.

I see the Prince of Tennis and Naruto movies, but thouse were preaty good. and i havent seen naruto 2 so im waiting for that to come out so i can watch it. :D
 
My Fav Animes probably are Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop, Inuyasha, Yuyu Hakusho, DBZ/GT, Gundam(Any except G), and Ronin Warriors---

As for the Spirited Away movie, I really didnt like it-- However I loved the Castle in the Sky--- It reminded me of Final Fantasy :D
