Well, to me it's pretty pointless to study card pictures to find all this stuff. It's bullcrap, plain and simple bullcrap that doesn't even need to be brought up. In the honest end, the general population of this game don't care.

Just my opinion.
 
If you didnt care you would not have negative remarks about it, so obviously you do care.... you just care about it negatively.... so sad.... Is there a topic that would cheer you up? maybe make you care in a GOOD WAY.... lol.....

ok.. really.... you have a point, but do you have a fix? how about a card that resembles Truman or FDR... that way we have an opposite to the Hitler card... hahha I guess Pot of Greed DOES look like Carter... lets use that...

The extremist attitude of these childish remarks fuels other extremist attitudes of those who freak out over the connotations to Demons and Angels, or how monsters and effects are "destroyed, killed, etc"

I wonder if those people that plauged exiledforcefreak also wore the uniform of nonconformity (thats an oxymoron!): black shirts, baseball caps, long hair, and/or earrings. Any skull decorations or tatoos being displayed? Let's lynch em! <sarcasm>:)

Honestly, the more attention given to the subject will just encourage more people to consider the idea and give it creedance. Let it alone and it will die.

Yup, remember numerous parenting guides state that the best way to deal with you child learning a phrase such as "F$£k!" is to ignore it, if you act all horrified and give out to them they'll be left thinking how fun this magical word is that gets such a reaction and want to try it out again just for the reaction.

Or, by ignoring it, it becomes a new part of their vocabulary that they don't hesitate to use around friends and family, along with the nice things they say....

"Excuse me A**hole, can you pass the toast??"
 
Yeah, I'll hafta side with Masterwoo0 in this one. Ignoring behavior like swearing and "Hitler-izing" cards is not an effective solution. People will believe they are right until you prove to them otherwise. If they think Pot of Avarice looks like Hitler or it's ok to cuss people out, you will need to discourage it somehow.

I disagree. I have personal reasons for disagreement on this, though, not just because I want to make things interesting. People will come out with an idea, but if the idea doesn't catch on or is ignored, that person who originally had the idea will most likely give up on it, unless they believe in it very strongly. Take for instance turning 21 (for those of you who are there or close you know EXACTLY what I'm saying. Teenagers and younger college students for the most part like to get drunk, even though legally they aren't allowed to. 21 comes, and they get wild for a few months. Then, by 22 (in my experience and a lot of friends), they really don't care too much at all. Sure, they will go have a few once or twice a week, but those that don't turn into alcoholics don't care about getting slopped every night anymore.

It just seems like a pretty closely related point.

I like your Reasoning. But only up to a point. It's true, kids swear to get attention. Then, when they realize no one cares, they quit. But only because they don't see any point in breaking a rule if it won't do anything for them. It would be entirely different if the didn't even know that they were breaking a rule. Then they would just keep on saying it, and they wouldn't CARE that no one was reacting, because they wouldn't EXPECT anyone to react. It's best to simply tell them, "We don't use language like that around here," and that's that. Pretty soon they'll realize they don't gain anything by swearing, and they'll quit. They wouldn't quit if they never realized there was anything unusual about it.

And drinking pretty much works the same way. So much fuss over not drinking (and I should know) only encourages teens to try it, because they figure there must be something amazing about it if no one wants them to do it. This doesn't make it right to go get wasted when you're 15, it just means a lot of people are encouraging it when they don't even realize it.

first off, your avatar can be anything that isnt offensive. it doesnt offend me, in all reality my avatar is much worse than yours.

who is actually scared of somebody with blood on them? not me, its too played out.

but when you see a shadows of something you really cant tell what exactly it is, then your imagination starts to run from you and you go crazy. Then you dont know exactly what to be scared of.

i remember, back then when i was in the Jrotc (in highschool) during military Inspection. The commander at the time was the one that had to inspect our battalion, and to our surprise when he inspected each one of us, he didnt scream, he didnt talk loud at all.

so the remaining students started to get worried, they didnt know how to respond, and soon most of us cracked. why, because we were used to seeing the DI be a Sarg and constantly scream at our faces. we were ready for that kind of treatment.

overall, its note the loudest things that should scare you but those that arnt loud at all.

when are you most frightend? when your with your family or when your alone?

see its crazy.
 
I don't really understand what the big deal is about Pot of Avarice having a small stache'.If it offends you, somehow deal with it and move on. If it doesn't offend you, somehow deal with it and move on.
