Pretty much, But I will use an example
Player A summons Breaker, the Magical Warrior (CHAIN OPPORTUNITY)
Priorty is to place the counter on Breaker (CHAIN OPPORTUNITY)
NEW CHAIN
Remove counter from Breaker (CHAIN OPPORTUNITY)
If that helps
Unfortunately, that is not correct.
THIS is the correct way to explain that scenario....
First: P1 Summons "
Breaker the Magical Warrior".
His Trigger Effect automatically activates upon his successful summoning and becomes link 1 in the Summon Response Chain. THIS has nothing to do with Priority since it is an automatic event. The Turn Player does not choose to do this. This actually uses up P1s Priority since it automatically becomes link 1.
Second: You NEVER EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER chain to a Summon. You RESPOND to a Summon.
Third: "
Breaker the Magical Warrior"s Trigger Effect can be chained to by P2 1st. P2 can chain with pretty much any valid Spell Speed 2 or 3 effect. By valid, I mean the timing is correct for that activation. Also, either player can respond to either the Summon OR the activation of "Breaker"s effect. So P2 can activate something like "
Torrential Tribute" in response to the Summon, or they could activate something like "
Divine Wrath" in response to "Breaker"s effect. P1 can, of course, respond accordingly, and so forth and so on building the Summon Response Chain. Then resolve the response chain as normal.
Fourth: If neither player wishes to respond to either the Summon or the effect of "Breaker", then the Spell Counter is successfully placed upon him. Now the timing for cards like "
Trap Hole", "
Bottomless Trap Hole" and "
Torrential Tribute" has passed so they cannot be activated in response to the counter being removed now.
Hope this helps!
