... since it was never "properly" released ...

Here we go with the "properly" stuff again :D Next thing you know it'll be known as a "nomi"! (How can we work "priority" into this - lol)

All we need is another new card to solve this problem:

FUTURE RELEASE
Normal Spell

Discard 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard. On your 2nd Standby Phase after this card's activation, you can select one unreleased card from your pocket and add it to your hand. (This card is considered properly released for the remainder of the duel.)

:p

I'm sure they don't want anymore talk about the card until they make some sort of announcment as to what they will do about the 'situation'. But then again, that's just my opinion...lol.

One of the underlying tenets in this game, supported by its distributers: "Don't discuss it until we know for sure." I'll never understand it.

Any reason why the Pojo thread has been deleted?

Because they have an extreme problem with spam and member flaming over there. The thread hit like 600 posts in a couple of hours and was completely out of control.

Remember they have like 1000x the user base we do :D

True. I've always felt they have too many mods assigned to a single section. Huge user base or not, the rules section could be monitored more effectively by 6-8 moderators max. "Too many cooks", and all that. They could have just as easily locked the thread.

And not to make fun of them or anything, but I find a good amount of them to be very bm, a discussion there can easily spiral into random personal attacks.

So this post implies that it was an intentional leak? I'd like to believe so, but it seems like a cover up of a mistake to me. However, this points further to the direction that UDE will still go ahead and release Crush Card Virus as the new SJC prize card.

I'm just happy I can finally add one of my all-time favorite cards to RONIN :D :D :D Even if I'll never have one, we'll of course have our netrep.net mock-up for all to gawk at.

If it follows Cyber Stein, it'll be at least 2 years before the TCG masses can play with CCV.

The question to me is, how exactly did it get leaked?

was it inserted in the booklet for POTD? randomly every who knows how many?

if that is the case, i would see why it was kept low key for so long, heck the last pre-release event on the flyer it self they stated that the promo would be TOON DMG, but this time around they just said, "Go, itll be a surprise"

but furthermore i really want to know, how did this card leak out?

That story will probably never be told. And actually, if its true that they did it on purpose, I think its a great idea. Maybe it will be something they continue to do in the future, and it will drive down these outrageous ebay auctions, as the common player also has a chance at getting one (and KEEPING IT).

yea, but how did they release the card, did they just randomly sent the cards out or something as a promotional tool for the game.?

i mean, thats preaty hot if they did becuase you know people will be all over this.

Well, when you figure that they are using a Shonen Manga to put the Promo Card in, it's probably at the same location where they have the Prize Cards. Not much of a challenge to slap one inside, in place of a Hidden Soldier.

In actuality, I dont really see how it could have initially been called a packaging "mistake". It would have to be so incredibly insane to put a Crush Card Virus in place of a Hidden Soldier. I mean, out of the Jumps that I have Judged at, I've never looked at the Prize Card, so I dont know what it actually comes packaged in, but I cant imagine that is comes in the Manga, like a Preview Card.

The SJC prize cards USED to be encased in the uber nice, uber showy (?) hard cases. Sometime during the "Des Volstgalph" 'era', UDE quit sending the prize cards in the hard cases and started sending them in just the hard plastic toploaders. Some of them didn't even come in the hard toploader, they were simply in sleeves. The 2 "Shrink" cards for the SJC here in Arlington were both in a single hard toploader. I had to 'hunt' down another hard toploader to have for the 2nd card.
