Initial Impressions: Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Duel Academy

Just to clear it up, it WAS for a FAQ and I DID do it on purpose. I am 15-0-0, but on the first test I purposely bombed the written, surrendered the timed, and never even set a card in the practical. Just to trigger the event. The FAQ is on gamefaqs....some guy with an obsession with Elemental Hero Mudball Man wrote it.....and talked about muddy balls and Bevis and Butthead.......yeah. Whatever.
 
hope i didnt offend you man. I stated it cuase you werent the only one that got the Drop out boy label.

the game is fairly easy. EX is a bit harder, the AI is Ruthless.
 
It's cool. One other event that is kind of hidden is you can get a free pack from whatever the headmaster of your dorm is on Chrismas Day. If you are Obelisk Blue. Don't bother. It is a 1-A pack. Cheapskate Crowler.
 
yea i read that FAQ, the one posted by the guy that bought the book in Japanese, i was like hmm interesting.

I havent tried any of it since i droped the game and started with EX. :)
 
another "glitch"

I like how you can re-use traps if you chain them to Giant Trunade. Unfortunately, so can they... (but they usually don't...)

I thought I read somwhere that when you Book of Moon a Snatched monster, Snatch stays equipped to it. I tried that, but Snatch went away. Oh well.

So that makes 2 helpful glitches to count and 1 bad one

1G)Burst Stream of Destruction = Rageki. No blue eyes neccesary.

2G)You can Waboku or Jar of Greed when Giant Trunade is used for a free card.....I think I am going to build a cheater's deck. Draw power and trunade......

1B)Smashing Ground could hurt you if your opponent only has 0 DEF monsters.

Dosen't Konami have beta testers? Their job is to find these things. I am not complaining against burst stream or trunade, but smashing? Sure glad this isn't the software to be used in Worlds.
