level modulation versus serial spell

rules says that serial spell wont work with level up! because serial spell is unable to find a monster LV on the field in order to correct copy the effct of level up´ed creature

since level modulation dont have this problem because it can target any LV creature in grave , may i chain serial spell to it and special sumon 2 diferent Lv creatures ?

example ; my grave has 1 armed 7 properly sumoned before and 1 horus 6

Creature Swap is a horrible card to compare with Level Modulation. It has no wording even in the slightest that there might be a cost. The first sentence 'is' the effect of Creature Swap. The last sentence is a restriction placed on the monsters towards manual battle position changes.

I suppose I'll just have to wait. =/

I wasnt using it to indicate "cost". If I were, I would have stated that.

I was using it to show that nowhere does it "imply" that cards are selected at resolution. You could just as well make the argument that cards are selected at activation, and then swapped at resolution.

Notice I said you could "argue". I didnt say it would be a good or correct argument. But, where did the information come from that set the templating that this cards activation caused monsters to be selected at resolution?

From asking. That's why people are still asking if it targets, because it still has caused confusion with its text.

Another simple way to post it would've been: "Is Level Modulation's "opponent draws 2 cards" a cost?"
