limiter removals

ey,
i'v got a question about how many limiter removels (or other q.play spell cards) you can activate ones you have declared an atack.

There was another post around here that will detail this more, but Limiter Removal will double the current attack, after the modifiers are made for other equips.

So in your case, Jinzo would be...

(2400 + 500(Mage) + 500(Limiter1) + 500(Limiter2)) x 2 x 2 = 15,600

Now since Limiter Removal "locks" the ATK of the monster, after the two Limiters leave the field, its attack will still stay at 15,600 instead of dropping down by 1000 ATK.

Mazera DeVille[/ycard]]Cool, I gather if it was just normally attached to Ancient Gear Golem making it 3500 then unattached it would return back to it's original attack of 3000 with no interference from Limiter Removal.
Yes, the reason the attack stays at the doubled value is that Limiter Removal has no stipulation for the Atk returning to normal, it has nothing to do with the Heavy Mech Support Platform other than for allowing the monster to survive Limiter's destruction effect in the End Phase.

And because it never states that the monster will return back to the origianal attack it will remain that way until destroyed, flipped face down, or removed from the field some how.

I have a question.

If I have 1 Heavy Mech equipped, and multiple Limiters attempt to destroy, would that single Union protect the Machine monster from destruction by all activated Limiters, or just from the first one attempting to destroy?

Yes you can because once End Phase hits it triggers that part of the effect. Then you can chain to it since it forms a chain and is Link 1 in the chain. Interdimensional Matter Transporter becomes Link 2 in the chain.

Link 1: Limiter Removal
Link 2: Interdimensional Matter Transporter

Reverse resolving.

Link 2: Interdimensional Matter Transporter
Link 1: Limiter Removal.

IMT will resolve first then Limiter Removal. This will save your monster.

If Lava Golem's trigger effect of entering a game phase can be chained too, so can Limiter Removal.

Andrew, sometimes if you give them a chaining explaination it helps better understand how they can legally save their monster. But yeah, I should have said something along the lines of what you did.

right. I just was using the question as a way of understanding for certain whether the destruction was chainable at all.

I appreciate both explanations :)
