I don't know about everyone else, but I have been looking forward to this card since I saw the text a few months ago.

It is no solution to anything, it only fuels the fire.

Yesterday, at the sneak peak, I got about 9 of these (which I'm known to do for about any decent card from every pack) then I promptly made an all light return deck and playtested it against my friends who were in the regional that day.

It did very well, won just as much as any return deck.

But that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the beauty of this card.

It gives either, apparent advantage (i.e. they lose a monster or they use a Sakuretsu Armor on it) or they lose lifepoint advantage. Some of you may not agree but lifepoint advantage is a big thing this format, management of life is very important. Even though a return can turn it around for you.

This card destroys just about every widely used monster out there, from Cyber Dragon to Chaos Sorceror, this card beats it down. It can kamikaze Zaborg the Thunder Monarchs and other monarchs that may still be used. And the best part. It's a light monster. A few seconds after it's used, it's sent to the graveyard, either by opponent, or by it's own effect. (Unless you sacrificed for it) This card provides a light in the grave, and not just any light.

But when Returned, you get a 2400 attacker. It's an easy to the grave, light, beatstick.

I am suspecting that this card will see a lot of play amoung Return from the Different Dimension decks.

And for you original kids, this card will vastly improve Fairy decks. Along with many other cards in the EoJ set. :D

I easily give this card an 8/10.

The art is some weird tiger blowing out light? I don't like the art so much 3/10 (Art)

Hope you enjoyed this review, yo'.

If any of you remember my Fluorescent Response deck, I will be making Fluorescent Response II, so watch out for it. :)

Yes, between Ohka and Senku, I see a nice way to develop both Freed the Brave Wanderer and Soul of Light and Purity in decks.

Its the next CC card, expect to see it get mass Loads of playtime.

not cause its light but for its effect, man, what better move than cyber dragon to one of these, now you have a 2100 and 2400 all on the same turn.

hehe, I'm thinking about it in a nice build for Ectoplasmer as well. With the Malice Doll and the Ohka as tribute options, you can get a lot of efficiency out of the monster and not worry about it getting posessed in the end.

As you pointed out, the best thing about this card is the fact that it destroys itself.

"What's that you say, Jathro? A monster that destroys itself automatically is a good thing?"

Why yes! A 2400 ATKer puts your opponent in a dilly of a pickle. They could lose their monster if they don't wanna Sak/Mirror Force/Widespread it. Or they could use Sak/Mirror Force/Widespread it to save their monster. Either way, they have to spend a resource to stop a monster that's going to die anyway. And if they don't, they're likely losing a BIG chunk of life points.

The LIGHT/Fairy combo gives it a home in a lot of different decks. RFtDD decks will love it, as you stated. Sorcerer loves it. Mudora loves it. I love it.

I have 2 of them in my Fairy Deck. Makes a nice part of a Tribute for Shinato, or, if I already have enough to tribute, I can summon him for a extra punch.

Can I ask how Ohka would be good in a Return from the Different Dimension Deck? Ohka sends itself to the Graveyard, not Removed From Play.

Yes, but many remove from play effects and costs require taking your monster out of the Grave. Since the Mechs go to the Grave automatically, you could easily use Freed the Brave Wanderer, Chaos Sorceror, Bazoo the Soul Eater, Soul of Light and Purity, Skull Lair, ect to remove the monster and set yourself up for the RftDD swarm.

Its not a direct method, but it does aid the concept.

It's LIGHT - easily removed by Sorcerer. It's a Fairy - it themes well with Banisher of the Light and/or Banisher of the Radiance. Not mention now you can use Macro Cosmos or Dimensional Fissure too.

Then when it's returned, it's a 2400 beast that didn't even require a tribute to field originally.

doh! I forgot about the RFP Fairies and the new Macro Cosmos/Dimensional Fissure.

And I call myself an rfp fan. Sheesh!

Heck, since it's a fairy, you can actually use Miraculous Descent after it's removed from play. (Althought RftDD OTK is probably better)

But the prob is, it's gone from the field after first turn. The only deck I would put Ohka is either Macro Cosmos deck, Chaos Sorcercer with 3x Chaos (Not 2x) or Skill Drain.

I have a feeling that Scurry-like Chaos + RftDD decks will pact like 1x of this as a tech. I don't know. Teap Scoop loves RftDD. (I mean, they had 3x Deko and 3x Slate Warrior RftDD deck)

Mech is definatly one of my favorite new monsters. Though, it does just feed into Chaos CC's more, but it can be forgiven since it also is a great card to fight the CC. Its base stats alone are just sweet.

2400/1400 are never stats to sneeze at, several of the top cards in the game aren't much better, and are actually a bit slower. Being a Light type, means its nature makes it perfect for a Chaos deck (sadly). Being a Fairy does open it up to a whole world of support newly introduced in EOJ, but really, few people will look past Chaos. Level 6 doesn't hurt it much, since this guy is easy to summon anyways with his own effect.

This guys speed and strength are amazing. Great in a Chaos deck, exploited in a Skill Drain deck. But really, this guy is the ultimate suicide card in the game. He'll die anyways, so ramming him into a Monarch or a Jinzo is nothing. He can also crush and Dark World monster, and slam down the Chaos Sorceror. And you want to be real evil? Normal Summon, creature swap for their Sorceror or Monarch or Jinzo. You get a powerful guy along with a light monster in your grave. Not sure if its safe to attack? Charge head first with this guy, let him clear the traps, since he'll die anyways.

The only downside? Well, Summon him fast, hit a Reaper or get stalled by a Waboku, and well, you just wasted a card. But if you run most strategies anyways, he's much like a Cyber Dragon, on the field or in the Grave, their still good.

i agree - the mechs are great...nice synergy with soul exchange, creature swap, metamorphosis, chaos, etc...
want to **** off your opponent ...summon mech use soul exchange on his jinzo for mech...heh heh..even better if you have a stray goat that you can meta for ter after swapping...suck up his/your mech - ouch

the beatings will continue until morale improves....

Majestic Mech - Goryu, Majestic Mech - Ohka, Cyber Dragon, Treeborn Frog....Metamorphosis...seems like a good start to a good many deck possibilities.

The problem is, how many people will run anything other than the standard CCCCC~?

I'm actually guessing people might not even use this card in standard CC Decks, because it wastes a Summon, it's practically a Normal Monster once it's out, it's only got the standard 2400 ATK, and it'll destroy itself if you bring it out quickly. Okay, it can make the opponent either waste cards on a self-destructing card, or make them take some damage, but there are still several drawbacks to this card that I think might put off some of the CC runners.

ask yourself this..... how many times have you had your monster zone cleared by jinzo or a monarch on your opponents turn, you have rfdd set, and you're topdecking...trouble right? well okha is a solution... big time...suicide 2400 atks will bring the field back to even....activate return......

Honestly? Never. I don't play the game, at least not any more (lack of others to play it with, plus my unwillingness to shell out so much money for (half-decent) cards I won't use).

Then don't post here. If you don't know what's going on, your post is basically a waste of space. :)

Now I'll wait for a moderator to either delete this or tell me not to be MEAN to people.

hat's the best thing about these cards...every little kids who wants a cyber dragon or jinzo but cant afford them..well these are viable alternatives - they play...very well and are availabe in packs as just rares - EASY to get and drop in an e-hero deck as tech... a bit of easy power to drop on the field....i applaud ude for this...kids who go to local tourneys and get killed by cyber dragons , jinzos etc that they cant get causes a lot of kids to give up in short order - not good for the game....long term anyway...elite cards should be hard to get for no more than a year.... then be available as rares & commons for every one whether its structure decks or new re-releases of packs....that way re sellers etc make their $ and new players know with a bit of patience they'll have access as well....kep the field even...$ should nt dictate victory...which is why i think an 11 yr old kid winning nationals is the best thing for long term yu gi oh prospreity....

Yep, I was expecting this response. And the :) doesn't make it all nice and friendly either. But just because I don't know what the gaming world is like doesn't mean my opinion is invalid. I made comments based on the functionality of the card itself, and I'm sure there'll be some people who also see the downsides to this card and choose not to run it. And since they chose not to, it's a valid choice (so no calling it stupid or foolish).

I didn't say all people, nor did I neglect to say "I'm guessing". Personal opinion. Perhaps not a completely informed one, but you might want to blame UDE or Konami or whoever it is that doesn't put any tournaments in England for that. I'm forming an opinion based on what I know, which is all anyone can do. I'd like to play in tournaments, but I don't fancy a 5 hour train journey just to get to one, and then losing quickly with my so-called weaker cards when I run up against a bunch of CCCs.
