F13nd5 R kewl. They can liek ttly do anything. And to prove it, I'm going to, over the course of the next few weeks, construct and / or point out Fiend decks of almost every cccccccc junky kinda deck type, FTK, everything. Because, as we all know, Feindds pWN!!!!!!111!eleven!111!!!!one!!111exclamation mark!!

Hehe... :p

So this is CCCCCCC junky Fiend deck type #1: Demonic Soul Control / RFP hybrid. PH3@R it.

6
Tornado Cow-pushers x3
Teh OTK-maker! x2
Bright Intervening Lights

This deck centers around the two main points of today's meta: Efficiency in card advantage and controlling the opponent to prevent them from taking over. It is desinged to either maintain control with Brain Control / Tribute / Cannon Soldier / whatever comboing until the eventual kill from RftDD, or just beat down mercilessly. Fiendism.

Any comments or criticism is welcome, EXCEPT for telling me to take out the Swarms, Cannon Soldier, or Light of Intervention. If you think those should come out, you don't understand their function.

<EDIT: I suddenly decided I hate Inferno Hammer. Say hello to my good friend the Invader of Darkness>

No comment on the deck since I'm not really a Fiend expert per se, but I just had to say:

"Fiends R nt k00l. F13nd5 R kewl!"

I'll stop now.

As for the deck...how about the Mimic LV1s instead of the Lacoodas? While Lacooda recycling is quite nice, the influx of beatdown may prevent you from ever getting a flip summon out of him. The Mimic, however, will at least get a flip due to the battle, and provide some additional Necrofood.

Just a couple of thought from the Di11i3O 8^D

To be true... I try to follow the line you are using in this Deck, but....

*gets a headache*
* gets a burn-out, of being too confused*

No. I appreciate the input, but... (please forgive me)

Any comments or criticism is welcome, EXCEPT for telling me to take out the Des Lacoodas, Cannon Soldier, or Light of Intervention. If you think those should come out, you don't understand their function.

...and quite frankly, I'm sticking to my guns. There is a definite REASON for the Lacoodas. You know I'm a fan of DMLV1, so if I didn't have a specific reason, I'd've used him. No, the Lacoodas are in there because of the AMAZING card advantage that comes from the following:

1st turn, set Tomato.
Opponent summons beatstick and murders tomato. I special-s my LAcooda.
2nd turn, I flip down lacooda, then flip it again, then tribute it.

Soul control. Massive efficiency. That's what it's all about. :D

-pssvr

PS and I think BenjaminMS is about to butt in...

<EDIT: AND I WAS RIGHT!!!>

Two things....
1) Lacooda is EARTH. Tomato=/=his friend.
2) Lacooda and Light of Intervention don't play well together.
Okay, three...
3) IoD is not cool. He's just not. He's that guy in the front of the classroom with nine layers of fur on with bright pink pocket protectors for every pocket, answering all the questions the teacher asks and wondering out loud why the class doesn't have homework over the weekend. He's just that uncool. Methinks that Jinzo (Who cares if he isn't a fiend. He's crazy.), Skull Archfiend of Lightning, or more Ha Des would be a better choice.

Book of Moon isn't showing up as much as it used to (you know...with 2/3 in every deck).

Scapegoat is seeing less use as well.

Dark Realm sees play about as much as the skinny pale guy in gym class (boy, I'm just all over these school metaphors today). They should see more, but probably won't because people are too attached to their CCs.

And to top that all off, he's a two tribute monster. that dies to just about every removal out there (I say "just about" because he sneaks out under Warrior Elimination). There are only two really good two tribute monsters that are WORTH the two tributes: Phoenix (and even then, just barely) and DMoC (who rocxz0rz).

...somehow... I'm not concerned... Let me ask you this: Have you ever USED Invader of Darkness in a deck he truly belongs in? Because I didn't think he was any good until I found his true place myself. His place is in a Fiend deck that RELIES heavily on field presence. You won't find him in Small Fiends, or Greater Fiends for that matter. You WILL, however, find him in this deck and in The Dark Ruler Shall Be Pleased... because those decks depend on field presence.

If the two tribute thing gets to be a problem, I'll restrict myself to one tribute. But with 3x germ, 2x tomato, 3x Brain Control, and a Soul Exchange, I haven't seen much problem with it yet.

Nevertheless, I do greatly appreciate the input. :D

PS Do you like the edit I made with the cards' names? I went all-out...

<shrugs> I just think that IoD's slot could be put to better use.

As for IoD, I'll think about it. I'm just not sure what to replace him with. I REALLY want a Fiend... EoA doens't fit... I don't like Inferno Hammer... another Had3s will be on the list of choices... Thanks again. :D

Dead on, sir.

How about in that IoD slot: Mefist?

As I was trying to look through this deck, I saw Return from the Different Dimension, it looked pointless. Then I realized how pointless it was wasting my time clicking on the auto-linking as it would take 15 minutes to edit the deck.
Haha. Sorry. I know, I shouldn't have done that. But it was fun. The thread didn't START that way. I edited it once I thought everyone who intended to help had already seen it. I'll go back and post translations to make it easier, if you'll rate/fix once I do...

How in the world am I a "sir"??????????? *is totally lost*

Would you rather be a ma'am? Because that can be arranged.

If you are that worried about Berserk Gorillas (or more accuratly in most cases Cyber Dragons), then you can Mirror Wall/Rush Recklessly the Mefist. But, if you don't want to Infernal it up, I can't very well MAKE you...

Considered Goldd (though you may be saving that for a later week), another Lesser Fiend, another Hades, Archfiend of Gilfer, or you could just throw in a Monarch for the heck of it (though I realize that is probably what you are trying to avoid...). Your options are pretty slim if you want good Fiend tributes, for some reason...

Rush Recklessly is coming in Fiend CCC Aggro Junk. Mefist will be in Fiend Aggro (maybe) as well.

As for the sir / ma'am thing, I just can't remember the last time someone addressed me as though I was an adult... Because, you know, those things are generally reserved for respectable people of at least 16 years of age...

-pssvr

well, technically speaking, you would be classified as "master" in the proper sense, master pssvr 8^D

Back to topic...does the Locust/Scarab benefit much from the Light of Intervention route either? I think it falls into the same category. Are you trying to prevent your opponents flippers or do some other tactics with it?
