Blah. Off-topic. But I was once in a museum and saw a woman smack a little boy for talking too loud. I thought that was kind of harsh. A few moments later, his MOTHER rushed up and carried him away from that lady. I couldn't believe it.

So umm Ive got one for all of you..... lmao.. I bet all of my points on that you guys have never seen an argument get so violet that chairs were thrown.... do I have your attention??

Well at one of the local tounaments up in DE a bunch of kids were messing around and then started throwing chairs at each other.. Needless to say one of the kids got hurt and told his father.. He also told his father he had nothing to do with it... The cops showed up and everthing cuz the dad called the police.. The kid who supposedly threw the chair with malicious intent to hurt the other kid was too young for anything to happen.. They [the kids involved] were banned for like 3 weeks.... The children were messin around and of course the parent goes nuts....

my friend david, was at a PCQ and the TO didnt like him so he was kicking him out, so like he got mad and trew the table.

go figure it had to be a game for adults for that to happen.

funny thing is he is younger than me. lol

Im starting to think this game is really violent now...... yeah a guy had a giant die at my last tourney... he almost threw it at some dude.. it was the size o a softball... had the judge not walked into the room I think that guy would of had amajor headache

Well, it is because people take the game too seriously instead of having fun. It is one thing to steal someone's cards. Yeah, then I would expect some jaws being dropped. People just get pissed off if you do a good move and they rip your cards or what not. I know parents will get in your face if your beat their child. Usually, when I duel people younger than me, I usually give them advice during the duel. Let them think about their options. Is it wise to just get rid of that 1 card with a Heavy Storm? Etc. I know one time when I did that the parent was saying I was cheating and trying to slowly work my way into victory by giving her son wrong advice. -_-

OMG... dude.. yeah I always help kids when Im playing them... I just cant help it- they are so sweet (usualy<lol>).. but yeah parents always find reasons to say their kid lost instead of the fact that you know it happens sometimes... Parents that are very pushy about doing well are like this... never wanting to accept failure on any terms.. and always making excuses

("¦) did they have a rope for a belt for any chance lol. It's like they crawled out of pits of darknesses and blame everyone else for their problems in such case you lol.

Okay this is a thread relating to the title right???? Anyway, this wasn't even a parent of a player, but he wanted to look at a pairing sheet, so he grabs it. An official tells him to put it back, he doesn't, so the official tells him to either put the pairing back or leave. That's wierd......<laughing>

I help kids get out of the game when I play them.

"If your not here to seriously play, you might as well sign the part of this piece of paper were it says drop."

then the parent says, "I dont think he is kidding, son are you serious about the game?"

Kid says, "No not really"

then I say, "then you should save your money for more interesting things"

and thats how I always win against little kids that dont know what their doing.

see its easy, the parent are on my side because I help them get their kids out of the game :D

lol

wow, that is an interesting strategy. both for winning and getting parents respect. what do you do with the parent who just thinks your trying to cheat a win out of their precious little angel?

And what money are they saving if they advanced to the point where they are signing a Tournament Slip??? That means they have already paid 15 to 25 dollars. Do they give refunds where you do that at??

Only thing you're helping them save is time.
