And as a preface to everyone who says "I'll wait for UDE to confirm it." don't expect the TCG list to be all that different from this. At the very least though, it should give you a hint on the direction of things. (And I'll admit, I'm hoping UDE will make at least 1 addition to said list, but I don't see it happenning given the last time they implimented multiple additions.)

That said, here we go. My comments will be at the end.

Newly Banned (You can use 0 at most):

Side Note: Marshmallon and Gold Sarcophagus should be Restricted to 1 for the TCG since they are already restricted in Japan (and why they're not on the list here).

Comments: Wow, this list feels... "safe". Nothing looks overly surprising when you think about it. In fact, the biggest surprise that I see on this is what isn't on the list: Treeborn Frog still restricted to 1. Perfect Circle has been slightly hampered (noone ran more than 1 Disk Commander anyway. It's Metamorphosis to 0 that hurts it more.) But, Apprentice Monarch (ugh)? What can you say, it's 2006 all over again. Despite Shield Crush and Nobleman of Crossout being more playable, people love Crystal Seer right now and with Magician of Faith playable again (and Breaker when you think about it), Apprentice Magician will be in a lot of top tier decks again, at least in the short term.

What else. Fissure and Smashing Ground Restricted? Time to break out Hammer Shot. Seriously though, those should ensure that Cyber Phoenix may still be around.

Like I said, the changes are very conservative and does very little to change the meta other than reverting it back to what you heavily saw last year. So say goodbye to Troop-Dupe-Scoop, and say hello to 6 more months of "Cyber Dragon, sack for <fill in Monarch here>."
 
I'm still flabbergasted by seeing JINZO Semi'd. I guess it makes sense now that **cough** Crush Card Virus mainstream release is most likely around the corner, and maybe a later release of the full virus epidemic....
 
Shocked that they actually BANNED Metamorphosis now. But then again, even with TER being banned, T-Hero (i.e. Malicious = Ryu Senshi) and Demise+Doom OTK decks run too crazy enough for the banning. And the dreaded DMoC = Cyber Twin is also annoying.

Putting Brain Control at 1x will SEVERLY kill Monarch. (Along with Snatch being banned again)

Man, first D-Hero to ever hit the 1x per deck list. And lol, even Trap Dustshoot hitting 1x now.

And LOL! Snipe Hunter and especially Card Trooper is 1x too! (No TroopDupe OTK now)

and my freaking prayers have been answered. Snatch/Ring is BANNED!

But are they SURE about NoC being 2x.... that's kinda powerful.

Not sure about the decision about 2x PoA, AND MoF... this will bring back Merchant Pot Turbo. And especially bring back the Apprentice Engine since MoF is back along with possible 3x Crystal Seer.

If you bring back MoF, you bring back another NoC... That's almost always how its been.
 
In a sense they did with the Banning of Snatch Steal, Restiction of Brain Control, and the fact that Treeborn Frog is still playable.

And really, do you want to run 3 Light and Darkness Dragons and get stuck with multiple bad draws?
 
Loving the fact that Jinzo is now 2 and looking forward to restoring my MoF and Apprentice deck. Glad to see Metamorphosis gone for awhile- helps even out the playing field just a little bit for fusions. Had to know that Snatch/Ring were going away for a little while. I expect to see them back out (AGAIN!) sometime in the future though. Nice to have Breaker back. All in all, I think this ban list will help to even out some of the OTK decks, although Rescue OTK still looking good right now.

1) cbitguru - the list I posted was confirmed already. There was links to scans of V-Jump magazine that contained the information. We don't need fake lists here.

I know. Breaker AND MoF AND 2x PoA. This WILL bring back Apprentice Monarch revival again especially since Crystal Seer is untouched. (Even with 1x Brain and banning of Snatch, just run less Monarch, like 4~6x instead of 7+ Monarch and 3x Soul Exchange)

Definately will maindeck 2x NoC. And hopefully I can get Shield Crush to add in the sidedeck against Apprentice Engine or general Flip-Flop Control. With 2x PoA and Card Trooper being 1x, I'm expecting Magical Merchant revival for MPT.
 
hey densetsu, quick question, do you know if crystal beast sapphire pegasus is still semi limited over in the OCG cuz im curious if they mite do the same over here..
 
HUH? Sapphire pegasus is 3x per deck and always have been. You must have been mixed up with fake banlist or WC200X video game banlist or something.
 
It was never semi-restricted in the first place. The "list" that showed that was one of the fake lists that claimed to be the March 07 list.
 
I'm surpised that Jinzo is Semi'd and Breaker is back but got to see if UDE do actually confirm it
