They finally nuked Tsukuyomi that I understand but why make Exiled Force two now? oh well time to up date I ques.
i think it was to replace the second crossout and the chaos that they took out cuz its not a broken as them

let me say i love this ban list so much :D

This list was almost perfect, but having Exiled at 2, Vortex being unrestricted, as well as Emergency being unrestricted, is a bit a troublesome for me. And just what makes duelist think that Cyber Stein is going to be played more frequently? Just as I stated in a previous thread about not wasting money on Snatch Steal, I definetely am not going put 2 Exiled's in my deck, because there is a good chance it will be restricted again anyway, which is were it should have been all along.

Maybe duelists are talking Cyber-Stein more, because of a typical combo I've used, and many other duelists have as well. The typical Last Will-Exiled Force-Cyber Stein-Megamorph OTK combo. For myself I've used this combo relentlessly on too many occasions. A funny thing about this is when someone would use Bottomless, (which pretty much told me to drop from Shonen Jump Philly, knowing there was no chance I would advance to the Top 8), Torrential Tribute, and even Divine Wrath which to me is fun and laughable.

But Exiled is a structure deck common now. Sure it is very searchable, and makes for decent removal but it is not that broken. Limiting Ultimate Offering and Last Will makes it harder to abuse Exiled to the full extent.

Or Waboku, Kuriboh, Magic Cylinder, etc. It isn't that the combo can be stopped (it isn't even that the combo is very easy to pull looking at Last Will's being limited to 1). It just takes a prepared deck.

I'm pleasantly surprised that they semi-limited Giant Trunade (although I loved to abuse it).

And I think Chaos Sorcerer got banned just to get everybody to look and think outside of the Chaos box (light and dark). We seemed to be in that rut even though Sorcerer was really not that good.

wow i didn't see the Giant Trunade down on the semi-limited list, that i don't really understand y they would put that there, but i wish they would have done something to the cyber-stein

Well this certainly is an interesting ban list....I was really hoping Mirror Force would be gone but, as chaosruler said "there's too much swarm to ban mirror force."

2 Exhiled is really...weird....really. It's looks like this ban list is based on monster removal. I like how chaos is finally gone. I see a lot of Macro cosmos decks going on. All in all. Idk what i'm gonna run for a deck but, with this new ban list. A whole bunch of ideas are coming to me

Why the **** is Ring of Destruction back! It looks like we got another "Staple trap" other then Torrential/Mirror/CotH combo. But then again, 3x Decree are running rampant.

And man, there's goes Chimera and E-Heros.

Man, I'll really miss Tsukuyomi. And no Snatch... what are we suppose to steal with, Enemy Controller and Brain Control? (Heck, I've seen Mind Control used before. For a "semi" Change of Heart)

And why the heck is Exiled two per deck?! And with Chaos dead, we might see Warrior Toolbox now. I mean, Exiled x 2, DDWL, DDA, MSLV2, Donny makes a good deck, since Light/Dark doesn't mean crap anymore. Not to mention Don will be a nice replacement for that 1x Reaper.

Hmmmm- stall gets harder to run, with only 1 gravity bind, 1 level limit area B and 1 spirit reaper. At least there is still nightmare steel cage x3

That said, exodia is a little quicker, if one can stay alive longer, with reckless greed.

Additionally, as others have said, seeing the end of chaos and the heading off at the pass of chimeratech otk. That said, there is still cyber-stein, but ring of destruction is really going to make sure people are cautious about paying 5000LP to pull out a monster with 4000 attack...!

EDIT: further thoughts: I like that Ultimate offerings is reduced before the gadgets arrive in the machine structure deck. The combo of the UO and a single gadget can end up with 5 monsters on the field with minimal effort/cost. Eeek!

I think the Ultimate Offering Restriction is more to stop the Black Ptera OTK (which I had just started testing, of course). It's a really fun deck, but of course it's an OTK so...

It's a better list than what we currently have, but still unlimited Steins makes that the "new chaos." Ring as an answer to Stein is like a band-aid on a bullet hole. Still, it is a better list.

Before ban list, Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End is in every deck. It is banned in the first ban, and Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning is the new staple. After crying for a ban for a year, BLS-EotB is banned and suddenly everyone turned to Chaos Socerer, which no one used back in the day of the CED-EotE and BLS-EotB. And soon, Chaos Socerer is banned too. It is just how Yu-Gi-Oh! is.

INstant Fusion from the set Cybernetic Impact properly would have fusion summed it and it completly made Metamorphosis second rate. there was times were i drew a metamorphosis and didnt know what to do with it.

But TER should have never been as easy to summon as they made it. It should have been Fusion Summon only, the abuse factor of TER is sickening. It was the reason we got Metamorphosis restricted to one (hopefully now with TER banned they will realize that Metamorphosis can come back to 2 or even 3).

TER single-handedly created stall, monster destruction and a Snatch Steal-like option for abusing your opponent's monsters. I don't blame them a bit for banning something that useful and dangerous.

Ring coming back is a bit of a surprise. That should certainly shake things up a bit. And I'm glad that they've realized that Lightning Vortex is not a big enough threat to keep restricted (it certainly is no Raigeki).

1 day... hopefully when Ex07 comes out ill be able to revert the game to the march list and play from there.

People will always say that. They say that now about cards we have on the current Ban List.

You play with what you have, and hope that sometime in the future, you can play with all the toys.

I seriously hope they didn't take it down to change it. But who knows. With all the griping over on Pojo about Stein this and Stein that, maybe Kevin and Dan broke down...lol.

they will probably re-post it soon. THey probably took it off so they can try and be the first to have it up, but im preaty sure V-Jump beat them to the punch yet again.
