Another thing I'd like to point out is a lot of people raved over EEN and how some of the cards in that set are supposively "broken". They claim Pot of Avarice is broken along with the Dark World monsters. Honest, people need to get more of a clue about the sets.
A card isn't defined by the effect if it's broken or not. The so called, "brokeness" of a card is defined on how the meta as a whole or in general uses the card.
Don't be surprised if we get
Mirror Force back at the rate the Meta is going now. Nothing but Aggro and heavy attack based decks.
Mirror Force to me has, once again, a shot at being unbanned. But that would make it the 2nd time it was unbanned in April. XD Ironic, you ban a card cause it's so one sided and then find out that it might be needed.
For the sake of arguement, I still say we don't need it. But I'm also to tired to care. That card is the only thing I see us getting back in the spring. I don't really see us adding anything as of now either. Maybe
Jinzo, but that would stick. =/ I love playing my favorite card. XD
Anyway, that's pretty much my opinion on how a card is defined as broken or not.
As for sets. Every set looks promising at first, but once you actually own the cards and see how little the impact it makes on the meta. When BLS was banned, all the Aggro decks started poping up. Then when EEN came out, people started raving about the Dark World cards and those started to pop up. E-Heros are starting to pop up here and there as well as swarm decks.
The meta isn't what UDE and Konami were hoping for I bet. It isn't as interesting as they thought. It has ultimately turned into a meta where the one that gets a field presense for a good three turns straight wins. That's boring. Very, very boring. Then again, so was the old format.
The meta probably consists of about five main deck types. Zombie, Fiend, Warrior, (soon to be) Spellcaster, and Aggro. Where's the fun in that? Fiends and Spellcasters out of those five types are the best. Aggro, like Chaos, is predictible in how they run. You might have some variants to it, but the concept is pretty much the same.
Blah, I need to find a place to sleep and something to eat....T_T
