I can't tell here, but it seems you're all stumbling over the drink. The last two hints I gave point to the type of drink. Try and link the two somehow, and I'll tell you how to proceed from there.

Yes, I'm afraid this does involve posting thought trails. Don't worry, though; I'm sure you can manage it.
 
I did say alcohol was the wrong way to go, right? "On the rocks" is completely wrong thinking.

I can see this is going nowhere, so I'll try to clear things up a little.


When I say "like it with another" I meant that (mostly) in American sitcoms I see people often wanting to have it with others.
 
characters in american sitcoms seem to drink a lot of
coffee with friends in dinners.
is it Bean Soldier
Jerry Beans Man
i picked these two because they both have bean in there
name and coffee's made from ground beans.
is it jacks knight.
you know the story of jack and the bean stalk well the
beans jack got were magic coffee beans.
i'm just replacing jack with jacks knight.
 
Ah, coffee. Correct. But you're just going from that one word ("drink") in the clue. The clue's longer than that.

If it "sounds like..." something, then that something has a name. Then apply the rest of the clue, and you'll have yourself a new clue, one I don't expect many artsy minds to understand. I told you this was a hard one.

ds game yu-gi-oh nightmare troubadour.
so i have the first clue right yippy now i can try and intergrate it
with the other two clues.

figgure out the first clue to make a new clue figgure out that

Something like that, yes. And I do promise you that when you figure out the clue that comes from the clue you're all seemingly currently working on, then you'll practically have the answer. Only then should you include the second sentence of the original clue.

All guesses wrong so far, though.
