Um, guys...he said it sounds like Maxwell House. Ergo, the aforementioned mouse.
Umm, perhaps not.

Doesn't anyone watch Monty Python nowadays? I'm sure a lot of people jumped in with their knowledge of it just a couple of months ago when I was doing Weather Report.

And you may want to know that the coffee thinking and the rabbit-killing thinking aren't related to each other. I never said they were. They merely (somehow) arrive at the same answer, which would be the final hint needed to then easily solve the riddle.

I'd have simply quoted my last response here, but quotes don't count towards the ten character limit.

Needless to say, you're still all wrong. And DarkLogicianOfCaos is even more wrong because he's not applying the rest of the clue, he's taken one word of it and gone off on a tangent.

Here, I'll group all the relevant clues that you'll need now for you:

Sounds like another homeless drink. Round one.

If it "sounds like..." something, then that something has a name. Then apply the rest of the clue, and you'll have yourself a new clue, one I don't expect many artsy minds to understand. I told you this was a hard one.

There are a number of (supposedly) very simple things in my world (or indeed in the Universe in general), all related to one thing. The number is one up on the world's most powerful rabbit-killing weapon.
That last quote seriously has something to do with Monty Python. Where've you seen rabbits in Monty Python? Anyone? There is seriously a famous example of a Monty Python bunny. I'm surprised no one's thought of it yet.

Ok, rabbit killer maybe an eagle, but Monty Python's TV series, I remember something about a parrot which maybe it gets to the clue so:

Parrot Dragon

well if we are talking about killer rabbits...

Blade Rabbit could fit that bill

but the number one rabbit killer.... maybe hunters, or

"Among their known natural enemies are gray fox, horned owl, and alligator. Doubtless, they are preyed upon by many other species. Other than man, their chief enemy is floods." (from some site)

man.... Buster Rancher
fox... Fox Fire
owl... An Owl of Luck

however Im sure each of those is very wrong since I am not going too in depth... so Floods... that is the biggest enemy of rabbit.... but they also introduced a virus as a way of killing them off when they were breeding too quickly.... ... but the number is one up on the most powerful rabbit killing weapon... ONE UP.... maybe that refers to stars.... its one star bigger ..... so this IS a monster then...

hmmm. think think think....

ok.. I am definitely going to go with

Blade Rabbit
Inaba White Rabbit

If any of the other cards i talked about are right though, im making those guesses then..hahahah
